  • Parky out....

    So wear warm clothing.
  • Didnt turn up today?

Feel sorry for the die hards who had to witness that shower $hit up close and personal!!

    Hats off to them!!
  • Shutting the door after the horse has bolted comes to mind.
  • Sticky it! We'll be using it alot
  • I hadn't thought about burning the ground down. Good shout Dan, where's the matches?
  • With all due respect, there is no need for this thread today.

After that show, genuine supporters would be nuts if they didn't vent their anger.
  • [cite]Posted By: Stone[/cite] Good shout Dan, where's the matches?

    we lost em........

  • Charlton Athletic 4 Milton Keynes Dons 1 ................................... ah that's better :o)
  • Let's hope this is more successful than the "Taking threads away from their original subjects" thread
  • We have gone back to looking like the team we were last year. Parky said in the notw today he would pick a team that was capable of beating N V. What happend we play 1 upfront who can't only not play on his own he can't play at all. We should have started with 2 upfront, Bailey is wasted on the left, Sam is a waste of space.Lets hope we pull it around don't think anyone in league 1 will be worried after that performance. Rant over till the next game.

I know mate, just trying to make it a bit more light-hearted. At the end of the day, and all that malarky.

I know its wrong, but there is something voyeuristically amusing at watching others from afar do their collective cyber nut. You know in advance who they are going to be, and you could probably put up a decent guess at exactly what they are going to say, and who they are going to blame. Because someone has to be blamed. Oh yes sir, someone is indeed going to take my finger !

Its the lowest of the low following Charlton today, i can't blame one person because it was a collective disaster.

Probably Stevo my old mucca, i reckon at least 50% of pro footballers really don't care matey. They go out there do their thing, and pray to god they earn a lucrative contract along the way.
  • didn't think we were too bad once he'd made the subs, just a bit unlucky though.prior to that we were complete and utterly shocking
  • Hats off the those that travelled today - that is a flipping long journey home with that as a memory.

I don't think that you can class people moaning at the moment as raving nut nuts.

I think that you're raving mad not to moan. Just how bad does it have to get?
  • That match reminded me of my favourite saying...

    Same Shite, Different day

Oh come on! We looked like we might get something going for about 10 minutes and then that was it.

I expected a bad result today - maybe a draw. The problem is that we didn't look like any sort of threat and that this is becoming a habit - not just a one-off bad day.

Didn't you say we'd be pretty safe today mate???

kicked you in the bolox too then.
  • [cite]Posted By: ChicagoAddick[/cite]Hats off the those that travelled today - that is a flipping long journey home with that as a memory.

That includes Large and Golfy so when they come on here and moan (the only reason they won't will be because they are already too fed up to log on) then I hope people respect the fact that they went and won't start telling them to stop moaning - or worse still start a thread telling people not to moan.

Finally, Golfie was warning us before these bad results set in - and he was right.

Mate, have a look where i am in the Predictions League and then you'll take anything i say with a pinch of salt !

Can't remember ever watching a game feeling so morosely depressed. Within 20 minutes you knew 100% what was going to happen today, and the 2nd half was like sitting for an accident to happen, knowing full well it was going to happen at some stage.

Every time you think the club can't get any lower, it kicks you in the nuts. And the kicks seem to be getting harder over time.
  • AFKA calculated : ''i reckon at least 50% of pro footballers really don't care...''

And the 50 per cent who cared today were all in Northwich shirts!
  • Im sure we will hear all the players saying sorry for today blah blah blah.

If they are so sorry, donate todays pay or at least a % to help for heros!
  • i dont think i was this disappointed when we lost at wembley. i was trying to tell my girlfriend when she got in from work how bad a result it was and i used the analogy of Barcelona being beaten by her team Malmö FF. she thought about it for a moment then said 'no its much worse than that' i then realised that Malmö have been to a european cup final and lost, and weve been to Blue Square North team and lost! i'm trying to laugh it off, but right now it would be easier to laugh off a dose of the clap.
  • With respect, I don't think this thread serves any purpose, other than to tell people that they shouldn't be depressed and angry with today's result. The exact sort of comment of the original post is one of the things that annoys me most when I read this website.

Pre-empting moaning is not clever, not big and not entertaining.

I don't see any problem with people being able to vent their anger
  • And between those kicks in the nuts seems to be getting shorter and shorter ........

What does it take to not lose motivation, what does it take to have an up for it, buzzed up bunch a players ready to run through a wall, ready to die to get the club back to where it belongs..... obviously more than what we have now....

It is a very bad day, BUT it also is an irrelevant result, who gives a rats about the cup, I fricken dont, its the league we need to do well in... BUT another couple of bad results and the valley of doom may rear its head again, attendances may drop and people may start bbooooooooooooooooiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnngggggggggg, which scares me and may be the beginning of a slide towards oblivion.....

    Hows that for a moan.....
