boggzy engage brain please matey...I know it's a real crap day to be an Addick but come on now....it wasn't Richard Murray that said Parkinson would be judged on his results it was Derek Chapple.
Anyway, whoever it was, I think you'll find we're second in the league so they're 'at this moment in time' correct.
yes u just have to forget the record breaking caretaker managers role the 13 points adfrift of saftey role and the first time we have ever lost to a non league out fit role. o yes almost forgot the 2 seasons hiding in the boot room as pardews number 2 role.
I suspect that this was done for the sake of seeking stability and to attempt to sustain what, over the last few years, was the first prolonged bit of optimistic sentiment around the club. Repeated sacking managers (with good cause or not) doesn't seem to have turned the trick for the last 42 months or so, so perhaps they thought "let's giving staying the course a shot, as it worked for 15 years before". We are talking one year extensions after all...not exactly a lifetime guarantee of employment.
Two bad results (both with first choice goalkeeper injured) seem to have some thinking that the baby ought to be thrown out with the bathwater though.
it was gillingham all over again today very guttless in midfield. but i do think the players and staff know that it was shit. and im sure the players will be getting there assholes torn now. at least i hope so after the stick im going to cop from everyone in the next few days.

Well, earlier on this thread, or maybe on another thread, someone said that they saw the team getting on the team bus, laughing and joking.

Wouldn't suprise me in the slightest.Their attitude and body language when they walked out was pitiful.Lost before a ball was kicked in anger if you ask me.
good points airman. Hate the anger of suidical steve but you bring it back to that fair comment. There will be a director on the yeovil coach so please grill him about the point airman makes.
[cite]Posted By: Airman Brown[/cite]Parky's extension doesn't necessarily cost anything until and unless you want to sack him - and he isn't going to be sacked at the moment.
In any case, the club is spending much more on employing a chief executive, a deputy chief executive and a managing director.
something i raised months ago,and was under the impression it was only until the takeover was complete, well no takeover and still 3 on the payroll. After sobering up and reflecting on my opening post,i will apologise for the use of the words twats and saying they can't run a football club, that was wrong but I stand by my comment on the contract extension it put Parky in a comfort zone he previously wasn't in,and great point by Airman about the 3 brothers grim.

or you can just extend his contract.

Some gratitude is due. We owe them.
