  • Took the first of the Northen line at 05:36 to Charing Cross, train to Charlton and the coach at 07:00 to arrive at 14:25.

Have learned how to play the Stobart game, that the food at Wimpey is shite (great surprise), that Jane is a fascinating woman and the strange satisfaction of watching the furthest possibe away game.

It will make great piece (I'm the Israeli journo)

Be interested in seeing the article Desert, could you link it here (or translate) when done?
  • Agreed, would enjoy reading it mate.
  • Hitched. Left on the Wednesday afternoon, got a good lorry to M6 by Thursday morning and was in Carlisle by the end of the day. Had to walk from the M6 into town but not too far. Spent Friday begging around the shopping centre in Botchergate so had enough for the ticket Satday (£20 - outrage). Having slept under bushes three nights running was a big bedraggled some so fellow Addicks bought me a few beers and stumped up enough for the train back Sunday. Took ten hours as all direct trains cancelled and had to go via Leeds. Will never forget the experience - wish I could forget the game.

  • Cheers Desert. Was interesting speaking to you on the coach, shame about the result!
