  • All is not well it seems - PP may have earned himself a contract thanks to August & September's form - but October has been distinctly average. Thrashings at Colchester & Carlisle are not good enough, given the strength of the squad we have. Time to work that magic Parky.
  • I don't like Halloween.
  • was worried we would start to get bullied in this league and now it has come home to roost, feckin shite and lightweight, pucheon scores again for mk dons isn't this the player parky was told we would be signing better players than. The wheels have totally come off our season bollocks
  • Sounds like we are really trying but just cannot hit the target :o(
  • even a late consolation would be exactly that, consoled that the players care a bit....i wish we could get a goal and narrow the defeat.....will Parky now have to watch some matches from the stand?
  • We need a new manager. Parky is out of his depth. I'm sick of watching Charlton players go to other clubs and score goals.
  • [cite]Posted By: Mike[/cite]we are terrible, been totally found out. thankg od we go some points on the board at the start of the season!

I'm really not surprised you and Nathan are mates. Every single post you have made this afternoon has been complete boll**ks.
  • parky's new contract really does puzzle me,whats the feckin point,if things continue as they have in recent weeks and we want to make a change we have to pay him off, pathetic decision !!
  • Atleast Colch lost too. Leeds are romping this league.
  • AFKA...don't apologise, we're all grateful for the site
(if any fecker wants to trick or treat me this evening they can feck right off)

    4-1 might be a thrashing...

maybe we should have kept pardew eh ;o) a little early to say that our wheels have come off, dont get me wrong we have two flat tyres but the wheels are still on (just about)
  • And millwall get a late winner.

    Oh that's great...........
  • Very bad day, colchester go above us, mk dons catch up, norwich spanners swindon get closer.

I did not expect that today ... be interesting to read reports from those who were there .. commentary seems to suggest we had no power going up, poor finishing, poor defending, and not enough passing. Did not play like a team at all .. which is not usual lately ... what the f@ck happened ??? ... and Parky sent off!

    Bollocks!!
  • feckin hell everyone else has bloody won, couple more weeks and millwall will be above us.
  • Listen folks, average two points per game is still a very very good thing, only leeds are bossing it...we however must react, maybe returning to 451 would be the right thing because thats what got us our early success.
  • Least Colchester lost, they were on a very impressive run!
  • [cite]Posted By: AFKABartram[/cite]Crap day all round.

Apologies for the performance on here today guys.

Mate as others have said do not apologise, yes it can be frustrating but this site fills a void for me and it is run by supporters for supporters. You do not do it for money, so we get what you can give and we are happy that you do it.

1 point from gillingham and carlisle, very impressive.
  • millwall goal, ok we are still 2nd
  • been outpllayed by nearly every team they played in last month, sometimes i forget this is league one, thankfully no team really putting big runs together, could be worse could have millwall next week, they would rout us.

  • Bad day at the office...... or have we been found out!....

Thanks to Millwall (again)we hang on to 2nd spot FFS. 3-1 defeat away to Carlisle. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Leeds have the class to piss this league, without a quality striker we will be doing well to hang on to the play off coat-tails. Totally agree with Ken, either a bad day or we are being discovered.
  • We must not lose to Northwich Parky, no pressure like, but we must not lose, and it may be our loanees are cup tied, but we must not lose Parky or you really will be diverting up chite creek.

    Oh that's great...........

well at least we are 2nd again, but teams like Colchester, MK Dons, Spanners and especially Norwich are closing in rapidly. Next league game is a big one with the MK Dons at The Valley.......
  • This has been coming for weeks. Too many players not performing as they were early in the season. Burton and Sam should have been rested weeks ago. No creativity from midfield and ineffective forwards. By playing 442 away from home all Parky has done is invite more pressure on the defence. He just needed to keep it tight in away games and try to nick a goal, and play 442 at home where we have the crowd behind us.

Couldn't agree more. 4-5-1 is the way especially away from home.

Strange how all the people on here who screamed for 4-4-2 are now just saying we are shit and have been found out. No mention that as has been the case with us playing 4-4-2 for a few years, we have a soft centre and tend to get bullied.
  • ummmm is it just me but we are still second.........stop the moaning, it's a long season.
  • [cite]Posted By: northstandsteve[/cite]feckin hell everyone else has bloody won, couple more weeks and millwall will be above us.
everyone? Our main rivals for promotion (other than leeds ) Mk Dons won but the other two both lost!

    Brizzle L 1 - 2
    Colchester L 1-2
  • What a load of old crap. What I saw last week at Gillingham was crap and this sounded much the same.

I don't know why we've given Parky an extension on his contract - if we should have learnt anything over the last few years it's not to give managers too long a contract. If we need to get rid of the manager it now means another pay-out. Parky can now put his feet up while we get served up a load of old tosh.
