I haven't kept a check on this thread in the last few months. I'm sure there are loads of great songs (we have a eclectic bunch on this forum) that have been posted but i thought 700 plus posts with me liking or commenting on them would be ridiculous so i went with a recent one.
This song is so underrated, well, it seems like it is to me. Use to play it over and over again. tbf apart from take on me they didn't have much else.
Noticed that there is quite a few 80s songs that have been covered for Christmas advertising for large shops.
John Lewis with Electric dreams.
some other shop with Erasure - give a little respect. with change lyrics. which pissed me off more than electric dreams, which for me is surprising because apart from the guitar solo (shocking) is one of my favourite songs.

Love the piano at the start on this song.
Try Headlines and Deadlines … they had a lot more good stuff than you may realise.

that album have to say after one listen 'Manhatten Skyline' and 'Stay on these roads' stand out. Not sure about the cover of crying in the rain though.
She rarely sung which is such a shame and unfortunately this song is out of my price range to get the single due to the A side being some northern soul classic (pricks) think the A side was Baby. alright song but nothing compared to this...
