Dusted this off this week. Not that familiar with most of it other than the two singles but never realised this is a 60s tribute album, which makes the Taxman-esque Start make perfect sense.
A mate stuck Steven Wilson's "Hand. Cannot. Erase" on a stick thingy for me, been playing it in the car, not bad at all. Also Marillion's "FEAR". Quite listenable.
Back in the early 60s songs were simple - girl loves boy, boy loves girl, but err, hang on. What's this? Girl stalks boy, girl wills his date not to turn up, girl takes pleasure in his pain. Jeez Sandie, all along you were just a psycho Classic 60's pop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0Jw9umemzg
Loved Sandie Shaw but the song barely 2 minutes short changed or what!
