  • 2-3 Charlton win I think. Should be a cup tie atmosphere. Probably a 4-5-1 start but then the usual switch to 4-4-2.
  • 2-0 Bailey and Racon
  • 2-0 to Gillingham and a soggy wet afternoon.
  • Gills 0, Addicks 2. Burton and McLeod.
  • Get some money on Barry Fuller to get a goal for them...

    or Mark Mc Cammon
  • Think he may be injured Len.

    How about Simon Royce?
  • [cite]Posted By: Fanny Fanackapan[/cite]let's hope we finish the match with 11 men.

I was thinking yesterday that it's a red card type match. Didn't like to tempt fate by posting it ;-)
  • For OOh Aah it will be the BIGGEST away following Gillingham get all season. FACT :-)

unless they get a big team in the FA Cup and have to give them the whole end ;-))

looking at that 67% win prediction, thought I'd check out the Colchester predictions!

    ... Charlton win 48%
    ... Draw 36%
    ... Colchester win 15%

So in fairness most people didn't think we'd win that one ... so we can be confident for tomorrow after all!

Avg pts prediction for Gills = 2.16 (at present)
Avg pts prediction for Us was just 1.80
  • Good luck, I think you will win as there is enough class in your team, but it will be close.

We got another drubbing there, but we did not play well and deserved it. They did not look a great team, probably middle of the table, but have some useful individuals.
  • Sodje will make Simeone look like a Sunday League player.
just worried that Parky will rally our players up too much and nerves will set in and we start on the back foot.

A win, however it is, please.
  • Semedo must come in for Spring. Even though Spring 'did well' in a Bryan Hughes/Matt Holland kind of way, we're a better team with Semedo in midfield next to Racon.

Not sure about making other changes, Sam/Wagstaff really depends just how injured/tired Sam is. Shelvey/McLeod is more of a tactical thing, don't know much about Gillingham's team. Pace more be more useful, or we might need Shelvey helping out the midfield.

Should win, but like a lot of games it won't be easy.
  • 2-1 to Charlton.......... but it wont be easy, could be the same as the Orient game where we took a large following and from what I understand started poorly, but then came good in the end. However I think we are too strong for them and we should run out winners. Fingers crossed!!
  • Comfortable 4-1 win i think

If Parky goes with 4-5-1 and a rested Shelvey starts i with we win hard fought 2 nil. if he goes 442 i thing we might get out muscled 1 v 1

Better get ready for the match before you forget which day it is.

    And don't forget your ticket!!

    ;o)
  • Just a few miles from Gillingham. Grey skies here, v. light rain only, bit breezy but forecast is for rain to clear by KO time. 2-1 to Charlton.
  • Chant for today:

"We all came on the valley express, the valley express the valley express, we all came on the valley express coz it stops in gillingham..."
  • Away win though I expect them to try and kick us off of the park.

I hope someone has taken some leaflets with them, maybe hand them out to the Gillingham fans?
  • 2-1 to us Racon and Mcleod
  • Big Charlton win.
  • After six weeks of going to games I decided not to go today.Home duties were the order of the day .It was really a toss up between this and Leeds and I felt that my support would be easily replaced today.

It was a shame we did not hold on for the win , but a draw is a reasonable result with every other score going our way bar Colchester , I can see Millwall coming into the pay offs with Norwich and I predict Southampton. Bristol Rovers I reckon will fall off the pace but Colchester will be up there with M K Dons and Huddersfield . The fact that we are in the top pack makes us good value for the play offs at least , But I still think we are on course for the top 2.
