My vote is neither, Wise is a joke and the porn baron just doesn't sit with our clubs support base well

Exactly - how many members does CASC have now? Less than 2K I'd guess. Incidentally, if anyone on here is a member can they confirm whether or not they were actually consulted before this statement was made?
Wise and Jiminez played a major part in the shambles that was Newcastle over the last two seasons. I believe Kevin Keegan has just been awarded £2m, mainly as a result of these two clowns signing players behind his back. Regardless of that and whether or not they have a long term strategic plan, I don't want them near my club anyway. Wise is a truly odious individual. Apart from his strong connections with our main rivals, he has a history of thuggery including beating up a taxi driver and getting sacked at Leicester for attacking a teammate. No thanks, I'd rather struggle in the lower divisions than have him at my club. That's not moaning, that's expressing some well justified concerns.
Sources have confirmed to the South London Press that Wise and Brixton-born former Newcastle player-recruitment chief Tony Jiminez are fronting a Middle Eastern consortium keen to plough cash into the SE7 outfit.
But any deal is understood to be some way off being finalised. It is believed Wise may seek a managerial role - and bring his former Leeds assistant Gus Poyet with him.
Wise’s group may have a fight on their hands for the club, with reports linking former Birmingham City owner David Sullivan with a takeover.
Charlton’s board, who are actively looking for a buyer, are sure to welcome the latest moves, with competition likely to drive up the price. The arrival of Wise, though, Millwall boss from 2002-05, could split fans.
But Paul Nottage, spokesman for the official Charlton Supporters’ Club, insists his organisation would have no problem with the ex-Chelsea midfielder becoming involved at The Valley.
“Whoever comes in must have the best interests of the club at heart and also a reasonable amount of money,” said Nottage.
“As long as the new owners are prepared to run the club in the right way - the way it has been run for most of the last seven years - then that’s fine and it doesn’t matter who they are."

When was the last time the executive, made up of reps from different CASC branches met?
How do you make a porn peddler popular?
Make the alternitive Dennis Wise!!
This sounds like it could be Zabeel coming back into the picture.
Tony Jeminez was said to be the guy who brokered the proposed 50 mil Zabeel takeover last year.
Another connection with Wise and Jeminez is Jeff Vitere (our former chief scout for many years under Curbs) who worked with them both at Newcastle.
The fact that Wise and Poyet have been spotted at the Valley on many occasions recently makes me think that this has been going on for some time.
Having said that Wise is a poisonous little dwarf
Would anyone be happy with this. Not me.
Talk like this can only unsettle Phil Parkinson and derail our season.

:DD
Would rather neither took over.
I wonder if things are going to start getting interesting, or if it's just the normal recycled tabloid guff...
