    Shelvey -6
    Bailey -6.5
    Burton -6
    Spring -7
  • Elliot - 6 Not tested much, looked in command.
Richardson - 5 as with Youga carried much of the attacking threat down the wing. Some bad passes let him down though
Dailly - 7 Calmy in control throughout. Class apart in this league
Llera - 5.5 Good headers and distribution and carried a threat going forwards, but sometimes ill at ease.
Youga - 7.5 MOM No longer content with being a full back, Benzema-pal Youga has re-invented himself as a Brazillian winger in the overhead kicking sambasteps of Denilson and Bebeto.
Sam - 5.5 Still looked to be troubled by that knock against Exeter. Odd bursts of pace, but largely anonymous and cut inside too much to carry much threat. We didn't take advantage of the fact that he was double marked throughout.
Racon - 6 Not his best day, gave away a lot, but still showed quality touches.
Shelvey - 5 Just not in the game. Left Burton isolated too much.
Bailey - 6.5 More captain like by the week. Carried some threat going forward, but defended well.
Burton - 5 Not as hard working as usual. Seemed to be subdued by the Oldham defence. Constantly frustrated not to get decisions, but had little answer to it.
Spring - 7 Semedo's not been missed because Spring has fitted in so well. Gave little away and was always looking for goals.

Wagstaff 6.5 Looked lively when he came on.
McKenzie 6 Looked bigger than I thought. Gave Oldham more to worry about than they had previously. Encouraging.
McLeod 5 No finish despite some darting runs.

Parky 5 We spent too long trying to close down a team that came with little ambition. Jonjo and Sam continue to look in need of a rest and Burton was heavily outgunned, so the starting lineup wasn't well matched to the opposition. When we showed ambition in the last 20, our superiority was not apparent: it's just a shame that Parky hadn't pushed on, earlier and really gone for an achievable win.

Ref 5 Let too much go, although handled the time wasting firmly.
  • Elliot - 7
    Richardson - 6
    Dailly - 6.5
    Llera - 6
    Youga - 8.5
    Sam - 6.5
    Racon - 8
    Shelvey - 6.5
    Bailey - 6.5
    Burton - 6
    Spring - 6.5
  • Elliot - 7 OK - Didn't have much to do.
Richardson - 6 Looked good going forward, few wayward passes.
Dailly - 6 Good as usual - but made a few slips.
Llera - 6 Lumped it up there a few times.
Youga - 8 MOM. Can't fault his effort.
Sam - 6 Bit out-of-sorts not his best game and no stunning runs.
Racon - 7 Touches of class again.
Shelvey - 6 Marked out of the game, looked tired - needs rest.
Bailey - 7 Always gave 100%. Tracked back well and did his defensive stuff well.
Burton - 5 Didn't hold up the ball up, looked tired and dis-interested. Was poor.
Spring - 7 Played really well - midfield rock.
McLeod - 6 Got into those scoring positions but again - but just can't do it under pressure.
McKenzie - 7 Showed signs of being a good striker - needs to start a few games.
Wagstaff - 6 Not a bad game - lively and energetic.
  • Elliot - 6.5
    Richardson - 6.5
    Dailly - 7
    Llera - 6.5
    Youga - 9
    Sam - 5
    Racon - 6
    Shelvey - 5.5
    Bailey - 6
    Burton - 4
    Spring - 7
  • Elliot - 7, solid and rarely tested
Richardson -6.5 - nearly gave a penalty away, otherwise ok
Dailly - 7, solid did everything right
Llera - 6.5, looked ok but a few moments when he lost control of the ball a bit
Youga - 8, another assured performance, defended well and got forward confidently
Sam - 6.5, perhaps he's carrying an injury, never seemed to get into the game
Racon - 7, a decent game, but he has played better
Shelvey - 6.5, looked a bit tired, tried hard but didn't quite click with Burton
Bailey - 7.5, did everything that he should have done and played well
Burton - 6.5, marked out the game a bit, which is the second/third time in recent matches,
Spring - 8, a good game, easily our best midfield/striker

Parky - we need to implement a plan b, Burton looks to have been sussed out and we need to start someone alongside him to allow him a bit more time and freedom to do what he does best. Teams are beginning to realise that if he and Sam are closed down then we start to run out of attacking options. Still it was good to see him make three attacking substitutions and try and sneak something, the introduction of McLeod meant that we changed our attacking style, even if we kept to 4-5-1, perhaps despite his miss he and Burton should be started together?

Oldham - played for the draw and got it.
  • Elliot -6 Didn't have too much to do, but still caused me have a couple of panic attacks.

Richardson -6 Probably his worst game for us. saved by his forward movement and crosses.

    Dailly -7 Steady as ever.

Llera -7 Much better, but should have buried his chance.

Youga -8 Our best player on the day. Those mazy runs of his are certainly exciting.

Sam -6 Didn't get enough of the ball.

Racon -7 Looked in control in the midfield. Should have shot when he had the chance.

Shelvey -7 Seems to have calmed down a bit recently. May have taken the edge off his game.

Bailey -7 Looked knackered. Still a very clever player and our heartbeat.

Burton -7 Worked very hard again. Got nothing from the officals.

Spring -8 His best game for us. Looked dangerous when attacking and some clever midfield play.

McLoed - 2 Some of the worst attempts at finishing I've ever seen, two mis hits and a missed header. I would have scored two of those.

    McKenzie - 6 Looked a good acquisition

Waggy - 7 Seems to be stepping up to the plate. Even won a header and a tackle!
