•
[cite]Posted By: dabos[/cite]
[cite]Posted By: Exiled_Addick[/cite]They've been playing 4-5-1 this season, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think this will be the first time this season we've played against side that will be matching up against us in terms of formation, so we won't have that spare man in midfield.
Saints played 4-5-1, and in the first half we definitely struggled. However we got into our groove second half so I'm not too worried about Exeter matching our formation if we take what we learned from that game into this one.
Fair enough, I wasn't at that game so please strike my previous comment from the record!
• i thought this thread was going to be about Exeter's firm.
• I'm just worried who exactely is gonna play with semedo, bailey, richardson, sam, burton all injury doubts, although deon will play with a broken nose no doubt
• Oh leave it out, I am coming up for this one (if I finish work in time!)
• if bailey misses out then imo that could be better for the team as he possibly needs a rest and has been below par in last two. Can see the others being fit but if they are not then think McLeod would relish his first start of season in league and will have a huge point to proves especially with Dickson doing so well away from Valley.
Solly looked solid in pre season so have no worries about him in the sides unless Exeter are very tall and physical on the left and Waggy likewise on right of midfield
Only worry is Semedo as that would mean Spring playing!
• Solly, Stav or Basey could all come in for Jose and, for me, would all be preferable to Spring!
• we can't put out the same starting XI all season, now definitely seems the right time to show caution with one, or two, of those struggling and put them on the bench and get a couple of others up and running
• Can all team selection/type views go on the stickied poll, team selection etc thread please.

Cheers

Seven out of the ten matches we have played at home against Exeter have finished 1-0 to Charlton...
