Forest Away, £5 a return ticket, no wonder there were so many of us there
Also noticed postal works have voted to go on strike.
So do I book a ticket now to be sent by post and hope it arrives in time?
Wasn't planning a trip to the Valley before then but might be a good excuse to get to the Huddersfield game.
Train tickets arrived yesterday. Get to Carlisle 11:43 so will be looking for somewhere to have a pre-match pint or two!

They have to give 7 days notice before a general strike is announced, so I'd ring up now, or preferably add to our support at the Uddersfield game.
Myself & Mr F will be going for the weekend via a lovely auction place we go to for matches in the north, just outside Harrogate on the Friday morning. Love Harrogate ! Then after brekkie on Sat , journey further north to Carlisle for the match and book somewhere around the Lake District for the night. Leisurely if longish drive home Sunday morning.
[cite]Posted By: dartfordgent[/cite]booked mate they posted them they reckon no probs ..............wait and see
Wasn't going to trust the post. Probably get one on Saturday.
[cite]Posted By: benjaminroy[/cite]we will most likely be on the terrace so unreserved it is
Noticed on the telly box that the Narridge last week were in the seats at one end of the stand. The terrace behind the goal was empty appart from a few Narridge banners and flags.
Been to Carlisle before and there was nothing like aggro anywhere near the ground. Like a lot of lower league grounds it seemed to be malnourished teens who were more to the fore, and more to the fore outside the ground.
[cite]Posted By: dartfordgent[/cite]malnourished they live on scottie pies , cumberland sausage , lard , dripping and coal up there......piemonsters more like

thats why theyre malnourished, they dont eat enough greens unless mushy peas are classed as that
Agree what you say about the grub (northern chippys rule). But as for the beer - wash your mouth out!
The greatest beer in the whole wide world is from the glorious and historic county of Kent (Mr Shepherd & Mr Neame are two of my favourite acquaintances) You can't taste the hops in the dishwater they serve up here - that makes it not proper ale in my eyes! Having said that, butter pies truly are a glorious thing, but widely unavailable. My brother gets me to buy a load when I am returning south. Everyone who has ever tried one has been instantly smitten...

Have a guess where your brewers get their hops from.
