So Parsehole returns just in time to ruin our unbeaten record.

Could it happen ? You tell me.

How do you see the game going ?

  • 2 votes i went for the draw someones gone for a loss lol love our confidence
  • Really bad feeling about this one for no particular reason other than my gut feeling.

See a 0-1 defeat but with us dominating - Lambert will get one chance and score.

    Same team again though.

    Hope i'm proved wrong
  • Not feeling enitirely confident as Pardew coming back, but i have still backed a charlton win on basis of our form 6 from 6 and theirs 4 draws & a lose. so surely we cannot let this be a bannana skin in our current season, COME ON YOU REDS!
  • not gonna be there shamefully going to lords for the one dayer
  • We will win 3 - 0 Racon, Shelvey and Burton

Pardew will get a little bit of abuse.

He will not be too bothered about it

We can then all move on.
  • 2-1 late winner BaiIey. The defeat won't be Pardew's fault
  • 3-1 to us, Burton, Shelvey and Llera, Lambert for them.

Plenty of abuse for Pardew and our first 20k+ crowd of the season (2k from Saints)
  • 3-0 win

Southampton will finish the game with 9 men

It will be the ballboys fault Southampton lost

Pardew will get the worst abuse ever witnessed at the Valley non stop for 90 minutes + injury time (I hope)
  • Waiting for that kick in the teeth that as charlton fans we have come to expect, still think we've got too much for Southampton thou, all players being fit we should win this one and by a margin, if we pick up some late injuries I'd be a little apprehensive

    voted win, head and heart
  • Not going to be easy this one but I still think we will have too much for them and our form is excellent. I'm going for a 2-1 win in a tight match.

  • If the players, fans, Parky etc aren't up for this match then they never will be.

I suspect Saints will pack the defence and try and frustrate us and catch us on the break.

Nevertheless a home win, I don't care how it happens, but win.
  • Voted for a win only because I've done that for every match so far and that's obviously the reason we've won them all!
  • Lot of people nervous about this one, myself included.

If we concentrate on playing the Football we have been playing, this could be a rout.

    4-1
  • Going for the sod's law vote. I've not tipped us to win once so far this season, and I'm happy to carry on my poor predicting form for this game.
  • Nicky Bailey (knee) and Therry Racon (hamstring) didn’t train today
  • 3-0 Saints. sorry just got a strong feeling.
  • [cite]Posted By: Mike[/cite]3-0 Saints. sorry just got a strong feeling.

Well, let's hope you're bloody wrong, then ......!!!

    ;o)
  • 2-0 Racon & Sam. Unchanged side and electric atmosphere hoping for highest gate of the season. Everyone back from holi bobs and a gate of around 19 - 20k. Would love us to stuff them but can see it being a tight game until they tire and allow our Midfield to start tearing them apart.
  • Potential Coupon buster I know, but who in their right mind footballing wise can actually expect the team top of the league with a 100% record lose to the team bottom of the league at home? Do not underestimate the fact that he was not particularly well liked by the players either & I think a few of our players will have a point to prove to him, just as much as anything he has to prove to us, can see us winning this but no doubt it will be tight game.
  • I wonder if the fitness doubts over Bailey and Racon will effect people's predictions.

I fancy us to win 3-1 Shelvey, Sam and Llera and Pardew to be sent off and sacked after the game.

  • At least three of our key players - Racon, Semedo and Sam were messed around by Pardew and all should have a point to prove.
  • Provided all fit, I predict a cricket score 6 or 7 nil, prompting calls for Pardew's head.
  • Affraid i agree with the sinicks amongst us and can see it being first loss of season.
  • I can see a loss looming. It's got to happen at some point. Pardont has a couple of his new foreign legion available and they may make the difference.
  • This has 1-0 Southampton written all over it so, as I have every game except Wycombe, I have voted Charlton defeat.

However I will be absolutely delighted to be proved wrong, something I've also written every game except Wycombe.

Superstition is now creeping into my predictions!
  • With Bailey & Racon looking doubtful you just know we're gonna get beaten. I'm predicting 2-0 to Southampton.
  • Much depends on Bailey and Racon being fit. If they are I think this may prove a tougher task than their league position suggests but everyone will be up for this and we will win 2-0.

    Parkinson's red and white army.,
  • I have gone for a saints win, but then I have said the same for every game we have played so not going to change that. I think their manager deserves a bit of luck as they don't seem to have had the rub of the green this season, poor things.
That is if you want to believe the know nothing fuckwit who manages them now!
  • Depends on the nature of any or if we have changes. We need to be icy and remember we have won matches by getting and keeping possession...we must not panic, and must try to be as clinical as possible all over the pitch. We are in better form than them, so be ourselves and they will have to be damn good to have any success, taste revenge cold.
