It's already been reverted, so I'll wait for the OS :)

It did say he'd signed on loan to CAFC for 3 months but as Dabos said that has now been deleted.

IMO it will not happen however, if Burton goes for the op and McKenzie gets fit. Phillips and McKenzie would probs be one of the best partnerships in the league. I know against Oldham Leon only had 15-20 mins but he looks more than capable at this level and as it says on Wikipedia, Phillips works best with a target man.
    Leon and Super Kev!

If we got Phillips we'd go up.
  • Kevin Phillips would be an incredibl coup for this league! Definitely the signing of the decade so far. ;-)

I would put a large bet on us getting promoted if we had him until the end of the season.

As much as since his Watford days I've always wanted Phillips to sign for us it wouldn't sort out our deep lying midfield issues.

And he used to be a right back so we could get rid of Omozusi and if Richardson gets injured we have a replacement

    Mmm...would make sense.
  • Not a chance.........he is still good enough to play a level above us, and we would be well behind in the pecking order now......

    5' 7".

    36 years old.

He's more likely to be a pixie in Santa's Grotto this Christmas.
  • Think no chance at all, most championship sides would have him in their side. also wages, could we afford this?

As much as i would love him to sign for us unfortunately cannot see it happenning, but you never know!
  • I would wet myself but I once read on Wikipedia that New York was the capital of the USA.

No but it might cover up the problems for a bit, which might be enough to properly challenge for the top two.

Seems unlikely Holden will sign permanently now so I'm pretty sure Parky will look to bring in a left winger.
  • There would be a whole host of Championship clubs queuing up to sign him should he become available on loan. Plus he's probably on 10-15k a week. Forget it folks, we're more likely to sign Prince Phillip!

Sat on the bench against Barnet didn't get a sniff of a chance. Don't think he's been on the bench before or since. Appears to have had his best game against us in a behind closed doors friendly. With the fact Bailey could do with coming inside and no one else is ready to replace him, one assumes Holden isn't what Parky sees will improve us.

Only time he's got on the bench was the Barnet game, and like Colin said, he didn't even come on so probably hasn't shown in training & reserve games that he's good enough.

Having a look on his profile on the OS, he's nearly 21. Wagstaff is probably his competition for a place on the bench, and he's a year and a half younger. Really think we'd have at least seen a few sub appearances if he looked like he might be up to it.

never come to us,we have to put up with mcleod, where are the characters?

Maybe, but when he signed for Birmingham he said it was because he wanted to play for a winning side at the top of their division. If, for some reason, none of the top 6 in the Championship wanted him, then I think we'd be in with a good chance...I'll go back to reality now!

Also - Imagine how good he would've been with Mendonca!
  • too similar to be paired with mendonca
