  • Fantastic news, great start to the weekend.
  • That's great news, thanks Jonjo.

It does mean of course that it just ups his future possible transfer fee.
  • Top news - lets hope he and we can celebrate with a Jonjo goal today.
  • It's the new owners protecting their investment :o 0
  • Chelsea out of the running a well until 2011 :-)
  • Fantastic news, a great lift and goes hand in hand with our perfect start to the season. I'm sure everyone apart from Golfie will be well pleased.

Uncle, did you have a word ? :o)

    CE

WTF mate he signed because he wanted to stay end of not just to up his transfer fee.

Jonjo your top boy mate you know that our level of footie know is teaching you more than a ressies game for some prem team, we will be back in the chumpionship soon enough and you can bed yourself in at that level too, well done Jon Jo made my day

  • I'm sure AFKA was hinting at this, it has been a bit of a rumour starting after the transfer window closed.
  • good news for JJ and a good news for Charlton.

NLA, CE might not of worded it well but I'd guess that the rumoured £1.75m buy out clause has gone or at least been increased.

Much rather he stayed but should we mean we get more value if we do ever sell him.

But for now well done JJ for showing that committment to the club.
  • anyone seen the picture of Jonjo signing the contract? He looks like a naughty school boy in detention and Waggot is the headteacher! On a serious note really happy he has signed until 2012, hope he keeps his feet on the ground.
  • geat news!
  • Brilliant. (in a paul whitehouse fast show way)

took words right out of mouth

Just shows his commitment to the club as well - TAKE NOTE THE WEEKLY SHELVEY KNOCKERS
  • Great news. Really good to see a young player that just wants to play regular football. Many leave if they get offers from bigger clubs.

    He's going to score today.

I can see what you mean. Waggott does look like he could be head teacher.
  • Great stuff, well done Jonjo, fair play to you son.
  • Not another Jonjo thread! :-).

    Superb news!!!

  • whoop! whoop!! go on the JJ
  • Nice one Jonjo!

He's a lean, mean, Shelvey machine!
  • Did anyone hear the Sky bloke saying that Jonjo had 'destroyed' the Actim figures for ground covered at this stage of the season? Says an awful lot. Great news on a very good day!
  • Fantastic news.
  • What's the point of extensions when you're bald as a coot to start with?
  • Good news for Charlton fans.

Bad news for League One as I suspect most of them were hoping he would be off in January.
  • Hahaha you seen the picture!!

Waggot and Chris Parkes are either checking his spelling or making sure he's not writing 'M Mouse'!!!

    V funny. http://www.cafc.co.uk/newsview.ink?nid=34718
