  • ZZ would improve Celtic's current midfield & will undoubtedly score a hatful in that league.

years back when i had a bar in Thailand we where playing an away darts game in a bar owned by a local face. It was always custom to put on some grub. usually a stew or a curry. They put on a top notch green curry. We all had a couple of bowels. I asked em what the meat was and they said rabbit. Now my family used to breed rabbits for the pot and it did have lots of small bones. For a few months i went to the local butchers--- no rabbit. I asked the Thai butcher for rabbit , he looked at me like i was a mad Farang(white man). So i asked the wife , she always looks at me like im a mad farang ! but says "we dont have rabbits in Thailand" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no idea what the meat was but the curry was still great.
Could have been anything mate, may well have been dog although I know it's not eaten in Thailand. I once ate a pigs face kebab while I was in Eastern Thailand, I was actually quite enjoying it until i realised what it was.
I've also eaten horse in France, it tasted like a crap steak. I guess using Mortimerician's logic that makes me a French man. :-(
I didn't really like Horse, I've only ever eaten it raw and it really wasn't worth the effort. Whale on the other hand is delicious.
  • I ate frogs legs in Thailand - somewhere in the north on a trek in the jungle. We camped next to a river and there were loads of frogs, so the guides caught a few and roasted them in the fire we'd just made.

Only on Charlton Life could a discussion about a footballer transferring from England to Scotland result in Thai frogs'legs recipes. Brilliant!

Any Celtic fans coming on here to get the lowdown on ZZ will think we're all nuts. They might be right...
  • Charlton Life is far saner than most clubs forums.

Actually, I think we're just insane in a slightly different way...

    ;-)
  • I don't think we can really argue with that.
