Why is it a stupid thread? Yes we've won today but from the sounds of it it could easily have gone another way and once again we've let sides come back into the game and put us under pressure when we should have wrapped things up by half time. Parky's fault? Maybe, I don't know as I wasn't there but unfortunately because of his appaling record Parky is never going to get much in the way of slack (and to a fair degree why should he). SHG's post is a reflection of that IMO.

It's only a stupid thread because of the timing. A few hours before the first game of the season is probably not the right time to re-ignite a ridiculous debate about when and whether we should sack the manager (despite there not being a suitable, affordable alernative).

Seems a lot of you have misinterpreted the thrust of this thread. I am not asking whether or not PP should be sacked but asking if the form of last year continues when would you expect enough is enough. I thought it was simple. Was impressed by PP and style of play today. Long may it and he continue.
Actually, I don't think people have "misinterpreted the thrust of this thread" - it just seems a bit pointless.
It's a bit like asking how long you spend stranded in the desert before you started drinking your own piss. Hopefully the answer is that I wouldn't be stranded in the desert, but if it ever happened then I'd let you know the answer. (About an hour - I love the taste.)

Sink please.
