Just got an email from their Customer Service apologising that they did not contact me yesterday as promised and assuring me that my re-registration will not cause a double charged payment.
Service definitely works now (at least it does in UK) and I have access to all the available components.
CAFCTV works fine for me access-wise - but has anyone listened to/understood a word of the Christian Dailly video? Apart from his quite broad accent, the voice is so muffled- sounds like the cameraman was using a hand-held mike at the back of the room!!
Having read the latest posts I feel vindicated in my decision to refuse this 'service'
Just who are this 'Perform' mob? Before they came along everyone could listen to commentary of any match for free with no hassles. We would be able to again if everyone refused to pay. Dream on............

Perform just provide the platform for hosting the commentaries - there's the small matter of licensing broadcasting rights from the Football League that requires payment too - and presumably the member clubs get back a % of broadcasting fees?
There have been glitches, but better the service we have than struggling to listen to away commentaries through a sea of static!

But we didn't have any problems until licensing laws made it more difficult.
The clubs get a very small percentage (read Matt's comments)
Matt will correct me if I'm wrong but I think we opposed the deal to assign all Football League rights to the one company when we were in the Football League before our promotion to the prem?!?
just to answer my own question - yes you can log-in with the old details...
I got mine in the end... but the two little boxes on the main page for the new site that say 'Forgot your username?' and 'forgot your password' were not working properly....
used a few sneaky moves to find alternative page with log-in boxes and the links there worked...
hope others get on ok and ting....
despite probs will still sign up to the service for a year... I live abroad and this is a real lifeline....really!!!
so don't read this as another whinge.... I mean...it is...BUT...despite teh whineg i am ruly grateful to be able to pay 35 uid a year for a service that doesn't even work properly...
just don't go taking teh pi$$ and putting teh price up eh!
Just some extra info for any fans having problems with CAFC Player.
As always, I would urge contacting Perform's customer services, but the following instructions from Perform's technical dept resolved a 'cross domain' issue that was preventing the commentary from working on one fan's computer system, so thought it worthwhile to share more widely.
There is also an alternative list of browsers, should that prove helpful:
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 you may need to turn compatibility view on. To do this right click on your browser just below the URL address bar where you enter the site URL. On this menu ensure there is a tick next to Compatibility View. When this is enabled you will see an icon at the end of the URL address bar next to the refresh button. Click this button to enable compatibility view. You should then be able to log in without any problems.
If this does not fix you issues please try any of the browsers listed below.

Mine worked for a couple of days, now whenever i click on "Sign in" (or anything else) the page just goes black and says "Error on page". I don't get this for any other site.
Anyone else had this or know what it might be?
I've cleared cache's, cookies etc and do have 'compatible view'.
It's a shite service at a premium price. I've never not had problems and although you get replies if you complain they never actually resolve anything. Perhaps we should all start demanding our money back, they might start getting their finger out...
We're finally working, although they originally took one months too much money which we never got back. Customer service doesn't do customer service. Fine, that's pretty normal these days. But please could anyone provide me with a translation of Miguels interview? I can't understand or interpret a word he's saying.

Complete opposite of me - All i have had is NO problems and smooth well crafted system... In fact i look forward to saturday.
[cite]Posted By: mascot88[/cite]Mine, this season is working great......
no prbs with the commnetary and i think i am wearing out my computer rewatching the highlights(which never worked before this season)
If Matt is still monitoring these posts, I think the new format this year is excellent, and it's great that you can listen to the Charlton Commentary ( and those great on the Mike comments at Half and full time before they realise they should have turned it off) Whilst surfing the scores from other games and other leagues. One thing I would ask Matt to sort out is the standard of the Sound when Interviews are being conducted. Half the time you can't hear the Question being asked, and half the time you can't hear the reply to the Question.. Otherwise Matt, you have a happy subscriber

I completely agree. The service is much improved, however the poor sound quality is very frustrating. It must be down to the mike they use at the Valley because the interview with Chris Turner recorded at Hartlepool was much better in comparison.
just signed up. the video quality is excellent, i have no problems whatsoever. as others have said only complaint is that interviews seem to be really quiet (and yes i do have my volume on max!)
However most important for me, living abroad, is the commentary and the highlights, thats why ive paid the money, so i'm more than satisfied.

If it doesn't work properly you shouldn't be selling it to people, simple as.
I will now contact the legendary customer service and see where I get...

the most annoying thing about this post is the fugging exclamation marks. i fugging hate more than two.

We was in the prem, totally different situation.
fingers crossed...
Have you guys been able to log-on to the new site with yoru old log-in details now?
I am on a different computer away from home (where it is all saved and automatic).
Can't remember my userid...and when I click on the help button to ask for it to be sent to my e-mail it says:
Sorry.
We have been unable to send you your username to the e-mail address we hold for you.
Please try again later.
Which sucks...will keep trying...
If I have to i will just sign-up for a year with a new log-in as I have been foolish to be paying monthly anyway
but just wondering if old log-ins work in the first place
cheers
Siv
