I'm here, no sign of jonjo or bailey from what I could see. Will finish my beer n take a look if they're still warming up. Edit - basey, bailey, sam, racon n dailly warming up. Jonjo n burton have turned up
  • All first team appear to be here ...
  • Cheers for the team updates
  • Just over 10 mins to kick off - and I can't find the team selection anywhere.

Maybe Parky's keeping his team and tactics secret to foil the opposition .... ?

    And us.

    :o)
  • Interesting to see if Basey gets the nod again over Youga
  • Shelvey helping to clear the training balls ... Rest of team gone in!
  • Ah, of course ..... "The team line up as printed in your programme"

    ;o)
  • Obviously being rested for saturday, maybe to bring bailey in the middle and give small a good run out x

  • 5 minutes to ko.

And the OS 'live update' reporter is still in the bar.

So a bit early for team news, then.
  • Team news: Charlton - Elliot; Richardson, Youga, Llera, Dailly; Sam, Spring, Racon, Bailey; McLeod, Gray.

Subs: Randolph, Solly, Basey, Stavrinou, Small, Shelvey, Wagstaff, Burton, Fleetwood.

Extended team news: Andy Gray makes his first appearance for the Addicks for six months. The striker, sidelined with a pelvic injury since the January Valley victory against Crystal Palace, is joined up front by Izale McLeod. New signing Christian Dailly, who joined on a free transfer on Friday, is in the centre of defence with Miguel Llera and Frazer Richardson returns at right-back after illness. Matt Spring comes into midfield.
  • Gray is playing!

Or to give him experience of clearing away the training balls when he signs for Chelsea and doesn't get anywhere near the first team and so has nothing else to do.
  • Blimey, starting with out and out 4-4-2 !

    Jonjo benched. Grey and Dizzy
  • No Dickson on the bench
  • Gray lives!

But I heard he was joining Barnsley or was it Bradford? It must have been true because I read it on the internet.

  • [cite]Posted By: Mike[/cite]no Semedo either?

Parky hinted that he wouldn't be playing, after picking up a dead leg colliding with Racon v Ipswich .
    Subbed at HT.
  • [quote][cite]Posted By: Mike[/cite]no Semedo either?[/quote]

Remember seeing somewhere that Semedo had picked up a knock
  • ah yeah forgot about that!
  • Gray, hmmmm that is strange because if his move is nailed on it is strange that they would let him risk injury with us
  • Are we wearing our new away kit?
  • No Charlie the o/s said we couldn't as Borunemouth wanted to wear their new kit and it would have clashed
  • [quote][cite]Posted By: Charlieee[/cite]Are we wearing our new away kit?[/quote]

Not there but they said on OS we wouldnt be as bournemouth wanted to wear their away strip,

Fair point but it could also be argued that a club would want a new signing to be match fit or somewhere near it.

It could be part of the deal that we have to play him to test or improve his match fitness to ease the transition at the new club.

Big clubs like Barnsley can boss tiddlers like us about you know:-)

So Barnsley aren't playing any pre-season matches to test out players who are on trial with them then?
  • In home kit, should be one up, mcleod chance.
