[cite]Posted By: Addickson's God[/cite]Not sure why we got him in full stop. Moutakill obviously off now, I wonder why PP doesn't rate him while the French U21 manager thought highly enough to make him captain. What went on behind the scenes? Will we get back any of the £400k paid? I can't imagine Richardson is as talented.
Where does this leave Semedo, IMHO one of the more talented members of the squad? Assuming Bailey is off, he will still be behind Racon, Shelvey and possibly Spring for a midfield berth.
Perhaps, M2 is a disturbing influence in the dressing room. Allegedly

Moots can't defend but can attack. Richardson can't defend but can attack. We have just replaced like for like from what I have heard. Except Moots is younger and with probably more potential. If he goes we will see him go on to much better things in my opinion.
what nla said , another charlton player who is really good when he isn't playing and when he's actually in the first team playing real football in the real world not in the rose tinted fantasy land of some charlton fans he is utter chaff
or the fact that you think he is chaff and anyone else who doesn't must live in a fantasy world?
The kid is still only young and very raw, he has the ingredients to be a very good player, but this would only be realised if he is given first team games, something that I feel he has been treated harshly with.
I know he has made mistakes that have cost us goals in the last 2 season when he has played, but so have all of the other playes, especially last year.
I understand the rumours regarding him,and IF they are true then it should have been sorted internally and everybody should of moved on but this doesn't seemed to of happened and still seems to be a big problem.
He may of given another players mum a good seeing to, but we all gotta remember it takes two to tango, if she had kept her legs closed it wouldn't of happened
To call Moo2 rubbish is a bit short-sighted, I think he is a premiership player in the making, In his defence:-
1) It takes foreign players, esp defenders a while to adapt to the English style of football 2) He was playing in an absolute gash defence, non of whom looked competent 3) We played a system, dropping deep which doesn't suit his attributes (pace) 4) I can't remeber too many mistakes last year on the few occasions he started 5) He's young and still learning the game 6) He rarely gets done on the outside, unlike Murty, Crainie and Butterfield who let goal scoring crosses go over

Yeah he's not rubbish at all. In fact he'd have looked a very good player if we were top of the Championship, playing good football and went on to win the league. And by then he'd have a season of regular football and cut out some of the mistakes.
I hope he finds another English club and proves himself.
Good luck to Mouts. I culdn't care less about these rumours, he's hardly Cantonna. Whether you liked him or not, he clearly put the effort in which is more than 95% of the rest of the squad. His game breaking runs against Brum were outstanding to see, and waste of spacers like Bouazza who benefited most from Mouts attacking space and thus creating it for others seem to be forgiven by many for thinking closing down referred only to the last club they sent bankrupt.
I completely agree Addickson. Although Mouta did make mistakes which directly led to goals, he always tried to get a foot in. Most Charlton fans seem unable to realise our malaise of recent years is because Cranie, Halford and Butterfield epitomise the fact that passive defensive play all over the pitch leads to constant defensive pressure. Cranie, Halford and Butterfield make as many defensive calamities by just not being present defensively and manage to fall over letting others make the 'mistake' or missed tackle whilst isolated. Watching Cranie's inept displays at full back, had much to do with our amazing losing momentum. So whilst he showed nothing in attack we still lost by wider margins than when Mouts played. Cracking thinking Pardew and Parkinson.

Hardly a hanging offence then.

I don't get your point TBH.
I mean, Amdy Faye will be playing in the Premiership next season, Jonjo won't, but I know which one I would rather have.
Plus Halford is no longer at Charlton so the comparison is a bit pointless anyway.
Who has he been shaggin? :-O
Like Moots, think he has potential to be a good right back, but I don't think we will see it here at Charlton.
