  • Mambo just had a perfect header disallowed for pushing. Unfortunately he didn't hear the whistle and went on a lap of honour shaking hands with half the crowd !
  • what does browny have to be positive about as a charlton fan lets be fair, he told it how it is, the training ground wont be buzzing the money issue without the takeover is dire.

he cant come on and paint a dishonest picture
  • Is Mambo number 5 by any chance?

A little bit of Monica in my life......... :0)

Yeah, the Brownster always finds it difficult to ever say anything positive about Charlton, admittedly it has been hard to be positive for a while but sheeesh... thinks we may just hang on to a League 1 place.

not how i heard it bud

he was brutally honest about our chances and IF the takeover happens soon and we can get 3 or 4 in he feelt we could do quite well, if it doesnt he said he felt we would be able to stay in this league but not push on for promotion.

i would have browny in the coaching set up any day

I just caught the last bit old chap, where he was saying we should be able to hang on to a place in league 1, for me he always seems to be rather to much on the gloomy side imo, realism maybe and not without foundation admittedly, but I think takeover or otherwise we should be able to compete at the higher end of this division or maybe I have had my correct dose of happy pills today, who knows? That said I agree that he would probably make a good addition to the coaching set up, perhaps he would steer clear of the radio and pump some balls into the squad (in a manner of speaking)!
  • Can someone please put up a link for the radio station it is on
  • Dicko just hit it at the keeper from one yard
  • Dickson just fired straight at the keeper from a yard
  • Mambo is 6 llera is 5

Why are you slating Dickson seriously, you only have Ross's word on this but he hasn't come out and said that! If he only wanted to play in the championship, why wouldn't of he minded going back to Gillingham in January even thou they was in league two!?
  • Thank God for AFKA as the OS still hasn't got anything up. Mind you they've had a busy day.
  • Maybe the OS servers have gone due to the overwhelming amount of people who want to follow this game as it happens, and all of China reading about ZZ leaving

I was having a chuckle with a slight penchant towards the irony of the miss, hardly a slating really imho! I am also reasonably assuming Ross is at the game given that he is able to report the miss.
  • Llera so far making Hudson look like Beckenbauer

    tuna out of his depth

dicko can't hold it up to save his life

Stavrinou looks useful as does Mambo

I think the striker Is called Juan Ignatio Torres - very glam
  • Not the greatest. We've had lion share of play, should of had 1 or 2. Dicko missed an absolute sitter. To sum it up, tuna just had a shot and burst a balloon in the process !

A mate of mine who i work with has just been released by MK Dons after not offering him professional terms and he was laughing at me when i told him we had signed Llera...he played in a reserves match last season where it consisted all of U.18s except Llera at centre back who was a new signing.
On the basis of playing with him in this game(where he scored an own goal and generally had a nightmare) and training with him he came to the conclusion he is DOG SHITE!
Therefore , Swisdom you sound about right with your description of Llera pal lol
  • I'm starting to remember why I never used to go to friendlies....
  • how does the kit look in flesh then afka?
  • Is it half time yet?

  • I am prepared to give Llera a chance to settle into his new surroundings and hope he will end up having a decent season for us like he did for MK Dons last season.
  • But he didnt have a decent season thats the problem, if he did dons wouldnt have let him go on a free!
  • Kit is very smart. Simple like England shirt - just lacking the talent/skill/guile/ability/pace :-)

    0-0 at break
  • Pilchard im not knocking you for giving him a chance mate, i live near MK and im yet to meet a person who rated him...
  • He did have a decent season, alot of there fans were sad to see him go...

It was his choice to leave, they wanted him to stay.
  • 1 0 wagstaff. Great strike
  • Torres has nice left foot and waggy looks hungry -

actually 1-0 waggy with a corker
  • To charlton (Wagstaff)
  • Ok thats fair enough if you have seen dons fans rating him, im just going by what i have heard....and i just happened to see the second leg of the playoffs with scunny where he made jude stirling look like a player!
