[cite]Posted By: Valley11[/cite]Steve Brown on BBC Radio London now - all doom and gloom
Yeah, the Brownster always finds it difficult to ever say anything positive about Charlton, admittedly it has been hard to be positive for a while but sheeesh... thinks we may just hang on to a League 1 place.

You know, like the next man I love Brownie but I know some of you love him on the radio but his negativity used to really get on my breasts. So I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that.

not how i heard it bud
he was brutally honest about our chances and IF the takeover happens soon and we can get 3 or 4 in he feelt we could do quite well, if it doesnt he said he felt we would be able to stay in this league but not push on for promotion.
i would have browny in the coaching set up any day
[cite]Posted By: mart77[/cite]BBC London is making very interesting listening!
Only caught the end of it. What did he say about the takeover?
He was basically saying we're f**ked if the takeover doesn't go through, in what was largely an unbelieveably negative interview. He talked about player unrest but i also got the vibe that a lot of what he said was more media based rather than insider knowledge. He said Kins is out of contract and this showed the great level of uncertainty at the club. Suggested if things don't change we could fall even further but felt with a good run the crowds will come back to the Valley and we could quickly rise up the leagues again.

no triallists as far as I see - and only 1 goalie so far
No gray or mcleod
llera is a big unit and youga looks odd as a baldie
Dont we all. (:()
Isn't a different eleven playing in the second half?
Quite a mix of kids and first teamers between the two sides.
Two trialists who if I caught the names right were Rob Carter defender and a striker called Torres. Spanish but has been playing in Uruguay.
Very poor line from PVR but BBC London are promising updates.
All but Gray playing in 2nd half team according to radio London
Don't think so but may well have misheard it. Sorry for the crap reportage.
Sergio is yes but I don't think that who it is. Said a trialist.

Sign of things to come.
Oh, when Matt steps up
