  • Unless something really dramatic happens in next day / week or so (we all know what I mean) have we ever gone into a season with the club / supporters in such low morale and so split. I can`t remember any time.
  • [cite]Posted By: Spankie[/cite]Micky Adams and Steve Tilson are the only names I can come up with and they are at the same level so may well see a move to us as a move sideways.

There isn't anyone out there and .......[/quote]

OohAah has just whispered me that Curbs is still available

    ;o)
  • Ince has got to be a better option than Parky (nice fella but...). We need someone who is going to kick some ars@ and make sure the players are motivated because that is the only way to get out of Tier 3!

Besides I bought his old pool table when he traded it in a year or so back. Makes me feel almost connected!
  • Surely if we were looking for a new manager we'd have done it at the end of the season (nearly two months ago).

Just face it: Parky's the manager.

no he isn't. I was told on very authority that he would be relieved of managerial duties.

Don't believe everything you hear then. A month ago Ronaldo told Man Utd fans he was happy at Utd and didn't want to leave.

That's what I'm thinking. Only way he won't be is if we're taken over and then get rid of him.
  • Ever decreasing circles !

Which is more or less where we came in .........

  • Press reports are suggesting Ince could return to MK Dons. If this comes about would put money on them finishing above us!
  • Should changed the title

Masterplan and Charlton in the same sentence nah
  • Agree with that!
  • confirmed as mk dons mgr
  • Any lingering hopes dashed. PP it is then! Dear oh dear.

Wouldn't have been right for us, arrogant, self opinionated, successful at this level!
  • eh..... No!

Obviously too well qualified then for Charlton..... better stay with Parkinson the 'easy option' after all he has been judged on his results!
  • P Dicanio on where are they now on sky sports this morning, wants to be a manager in england prepaired to start off at the bottom ala di matteo and ince.... must be worth a phone call.
  • adam the addick..... yep you would think so, you really would....

Regardless of his ability as a manager, ( obviously something the current manager lacks) his flair and passion, and the immense media interest that might even raise some ' investment in the club' we might even win a few games with the new effect he could bring us!

No idea if it was true, but weren't people saying Di Canio applied for the job after Pardew was sacked?

Exactly the kind of manager I can never imagine the current board taking a risk on.

If he proves himself to be a good manager I doubt it'll be here.

  • Yes people said he applied 3 times.
  • Does anyone fancy Ince to take over from Parky?
  • But Ince he has passion and flair. . . .
  • Di Canio any day over Ince. Imagine the passion (and the run ins with the refs)
  • Very good point Henry. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Other than being a better known figure than Parky, there seems little to back up the case for him in the first place - Bryan Robson syndrome perhaps?

Have always thought we had the right man in Parky, and I believe and hope that I and others are being proven right.

However, I don't think you can say there's little to back up the case for Ince in the first place... He has achieved more than Parky (and Robson, I believe) in terms of promotions and win ratios in his career. And was, in my opinion, very very unlucky to be shafted out at blackburn when he was.
  • MK Press conference "about the future of Paul Ince" Midday Today.
  • Ince suspended for 5 games

he can't really manage them for five games anyway, so might as well get someone else in......
  • Dons fans have wanted him out for a while, bloke's a bellend.. glad he never came to our place! Anyone see his comments about the section of fans who booed on Tuesday night saying 'if your gonna boo then dont bother coming' - The Valley would have been half empty come October!
