I e-mailed yesterday, giving the details requested, and have heard nothing. I can't give them last season's numbers because I've thrown my old season ticket book away, and I haven't received next season's ST yet. Surely they can check names and post codes against their season ticket data-base?
Guys...please be patient....so far the club have had in excess of 150 applications (in 24 hours).....some are from people who arent season ticket holders...some have supplied the Con number, some have supplied their address....so the message is.....please dont send in multiple applications, you will just slow down the whole process....please do try and supply a Con number as shown on your red card, or failing that, your full name and address, these can be matched up to the season tickets database.
Also.....we can accomodate around 400 people on the night and judging by the numbers we have so far we will exceed that number...so it may well come down to first come, first served, but please do not put in multiple applications...you will only make matters worse.

No matter what the date of the Chairmans' talk, Mr. Chappell should be asked for his definition of the word "results," and if he can use it in a complete sentence with "Parkinson."
"Results" can mean much more than scores of course. If it was felt that the effect PP had overall was positive then perhaps the "result" of his time as manager would be viewed as successful ? ;0)
[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]has anyone actually got an email yet confirming they are on the ticket list ??
when i replied to the e-mail saying they needed my season ticket number i asked if they had everything they needed from me and I got a reply saying yes. Nothing to say I actually have tickets though.
Thank you for you e-mail.
Part of the process for placing your name on the list of attendees is that you have applied for a 09/10 season ticket.
I will confirm that your name is on the list as soon as possible.
Well with the meeting only days away I'm starting to panic.
What it's not until July 9th and it's only 18 June today? Deep breathhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I think the point is organising events like this take time, effort and co-ordination from a lot of people.
Well done to Gill, the FF or whoever is has to trawl thru all the emails, check them, put them on a list, etc, etc alongside all their other work (which maybe even more than before given the redundancies).
on a different tangent to those worried about ticket availablity etc etc........
This meeting is a day after our opening pre-season game v welling.
As I hope to be going to both (game & meeting) and IF Parky is still in charge, then If I get the chance I will be asking some pertitent questions..........and they wont be about potholes in car parks, hot water in ladies loos or the state of the pies !!!!!!!!

Backtracking to the December meeting in Bromley, Mr. Chappell was very clear that when he said "results," that he did not mean an improvement in performances.
So even if the play and spirit was better under Parkinson, he was going to be judged soley on "results." He was given the job after Zero wins in 8 matches as caretaker, so I think that Mr. Chappell needs to defend his position and the actions that the board took at the time ... and have also taken to this point.
How does Parkinson remained employed as manager after overseeing the worst spell in club history?
It may be that finances have come into play in all of this. But that is not what Mr. Chappell said. He said "results," and results alone would determine Parky's fate.
The results are there for everyone to see. So yes, I agree with Henry, that it is a fair question. And Mr. Murray should also be answering it, even if he was not the one who said it, because he obviously has a big say in it.
Just to add, I saw Gill today who has said she's been inundated with applicants and with the checks that have to be done, which is another dept, its not going to be immediate. She doesn't work full time either and she does have other things to do as well. Panic on the 7th if you haven't heard but leave it for now!
Thanks to those who have applied....thus far we have around 250 applications (189 st holders and the rest are are guests) and the club will hopefully get the confirmations out early next week (somewhat slower than we expected, so I do apologise).

Is there still room or is it too late?
I didn't apply initially as I wasn't sure if I would be able to attend but (all things being equal) I should be available.

thanks for the update, tel. i don't think anyone would want an apology, people just thought the confirmation would come quicker than it has - perhaps because of the wording in the article on the O/S. The concern about not getting tickets just shows how excited people are about the event and people aren't criticising anyone as henry seemed to suggest above. I had no idea how many people would be working on the applications for this. Anyways, i'm sure a lot of hardwork is going into organising this and thanks to everyone involved. It should be a great night.
Unfortunatley the application process has to be done by the club and Im sure you are aware that a lot of admin staff have sadly been made redundant, hence the delay in getting back to everybody. STILL PLENTY OF PLACES LEFT!!!!
That’s a terrible shame for all the people who have been made redundant. Puts all this in perspective.
I think there are only two questions people really want answered “What’s happening with the potential takeover” and “what is Phil Parkinsons current role ?”

As someone who was at the Bromley meeting, I think this question must be asked.

probably busier than season ticket renewals.
One Richard Murray should be answering as well as he's Chair of the Football Club.
Richard Murray and Derek Chappell are on the guest list.
