Tranmere Sack Ronnie Moore

Generally don't like to diss smaller clubs who do their best to stay competitive within fewer resources than us, but the anti-football I've seen from them in the last few years has made me wish relegation on them. Resentment goes deeper to a game at Upton Park we needed to win to make the play-offs in 91-92 and they scored a crap goal and then wasted about an hour in a game that meant little to them - possibly my longest held grudge.

This, for me, sums up Tranmere and my irrational hatred of them. I wrote a blog about it some years ago:

  • Surley John King would have been in charge of Tranmere at the match at upton Park not Ronnie Moore
  • Tranmere are playing a much different style under Moore. Who else still has the certificate?
  • I wish I know what happened to mine- a piece of Charlton history.
  • Indeed. Hopefully one will make it into Henry's masterminded CAFC museum.
  • Sacking Moore was being in John Barnes and Trigger McAteer looked a strange decision at the time, and events have proven the error!
  • Good luck to them, something must of changed in there mind set over the summer as they are a completly different style of team,.

New mindset, new gameplan - the return of Ronnie Moore.
