  • In January we'll be in the automatic or playoff positions with Jonjo p-laying out of his skin and being our Jewell in the Crown....a big/bigish club like Chelsea or Wet Spam will come in with an 'offer we can't refuse deal' and we'll sell....as a consequence we will end up out of the playoffs...around mid table.....NOW WHERE HAVE I HEARD AND SEEN THAT BEFORE!!!!!
  • Germany....................with the U17's ;-)
  • I'd like to seem him go to the back, Bougerra showed the upside of having a centreback with a footballing brain. I Imagine he's over 6ft and still growing. It's mean to criticise a 17yo in his first season, but does he have enough in his game, like dribbling, short pass interplay, & ball winning to be in a midfield two? I'd hate to think we play 4-5-1 just to accomodate him, as Curbs did for Murphy.

Don't think he's anywhere near mobile enough or quick enough to be a centre back....he needs a bit of space ( which he's pretty good at finding one has to say) and time on the ball to operate.

Now he's no ball winner, at least not yet, but surely his passing is as good if not better than the rest of our central midfielders? He's not a great dribbler but he's ok, Zheng and Racon are slightly better but they're our only CMs with any sort of dribbling ability.
  • Jonjo?
  • Yeah, unless I've missed something?

What during one of, if not THE best ever start and run we had in the Premiership?

God no, please not again - that was awful.

EDIT: oohahh, get out of my login.
  • nah it's just you said he's not a real dribbler?
and what about Bailey's dribbling that's fairly solid too! (remembers the dribble and goal vs southampton
  • Well he's not, not in the way that Sam or Thomas are dribblers. I said he's not great, not bad.

Same with Bailey, not saying either of them have Amdy Faye-like dribbling ability, but they don't have glue feet either!

  • If Shelvey had to go i wouldn't mind him to go Everton because Everton do use their youngsters alot such as Gosling and Rodwell.

That's a better explanation of what you said ;o)

I'd love both Jonjo and Racon to stay dont care about Zizi as he doesn't want to be here and Bailey may make us a few squids!
