  • [cite]Posted By: InspectorSands[/cite] And a swear box for anyone who calls it "division one".

Exactly. It's f***ing Division 3. What's all this Division One crap?
  • I wasn't bothered and a few hours ago had even forgot we are playing today (accepted the inevitable months ago and will always renew) .

However, I have to say I am getting upset now as SSN haven't stopped banging on about us going down for the last hour, showing our fans arriving at Cov ,the play off final, some of the Charlton fans getting what they deserved etc etc. I'm just waiting for Ooh Aah to turn up on the screen :-(
  • This is piss and I don't know why we think that next year will be any better - reality check needed ASAP. I honestly thought that we had a good chance of getting promoted this year - it taken an extraordinary effort to get us relegated - congratulations are due to Pardew and a number of our players - you really excelled yourselves, well done!

    EPIC FAIL.

And Parkinson and the board for appointing him.
  • bring on division three, nothing we can do to change it is there... may as well get on with it!
  • [cite]Posted By: floydandharvey[/cite]Not bothered what division Charlton are in. With the current board in place, I consider myself more a follower of Charlton's results than a supporter of the club. I have refused to hand any money to CAFC since they axed the women's team (the only thing we could be proud of) when the men's team got relegated. After nearly 25 years as a season ticket holder, I've only gone to away games since that spiteful act. This board are idiots to a man, and don't deserve our loyalty. As many have said, it doesn't feel like our club any more. Bring on a takeover and a totally new board. and I'll be back (no matter what division the club are in), but until then... meh.

    see ya then.

oh yeah, and don't bother coming back when things get better.
  • The womens team are still going.

Have you been along to watch and support them?

As you're trying to get a response you've picked a really bad day for it. Come back next week when we are actually relegated...
  • I thought i had been watching the womens team for the last 8 months.
  • well, didn't happen today.... but as good as. I feel stangely depressed, more so than I thought I'd be tonight.

I'm going away on holiday next week (long story...) so I won't be a the Blackpool game. I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand I don't want to be there when we go down, on the other I do want to show support for the club I've been with all my life.

Oh well, I know the first thing I'll be doing when I get off the plane is reaching for my mobile.

Give 'em a shout for me next week.

    C'MON YOU REDS!

  • I guess that it will now hapopen on Saturday, in which case let's do what we did at Spurs.....loads of Charlton Till I Die and VFR and show everyone that we're not dead.
  • even though it's not official , it hurts just that little bit more when it becomes official... i know my phone will light up with piss taking palace and millwall goons but my replies are ready!

the summer will just be a slow progression of the better players zz, jonjo and co leaving making the prospects of an immediate return less likely.... our team will be as crap as it has been in my football watching lifetime but the show must go on

come on you riproaring- goalscoring -netbusting addicks !!!
  • I went today, the game was slightly surreal as for chunks of it Coventry played like they were already on their Holidays and despite some neat football, we couldn't find a way through.

Still I enjoyed the day out, we're not mathmatically down but near as damn it.

The sun came out, tomorrows another day. At this time of remembering 20 years ago at Hillborough and the 96 who lost their lives, no one died here, the club goes on, I go on following them, I'll renew my season ticket. I do care that we have fallen to the third tier but not enough to turn my back. I'll follow them to the Premier League, whether that is the FA, or the Blue Square!

    Charlton Til I Die!
