When not at the game, I always listen to SSN and even when they win the Brummies are consistently poor. They have some good strikers but their midfield seems poor whereas we seem to be a mirror image. I'd like to see us sacrifice ZZ or Shelvey (or try ZZ right back?) for a striker, preferably Dicko, and go for it in our last four home matches. Palace want a fee for Butterfield, so I cannot see the point of playing him. He lost his place to a 17yo at Sellhurst, yet we have an 18yo with a better pedigree in Solly, untried, as well as Moo2 & Semedo. If Ward isn't likely to join in the summer, I'd like to see how Mambo copes or try Basey there.
[cite]Posted By: Chris_from_Sidcup[/cite]You lot are all mad. Anyone who thinks we can win our next 6 games and stay up when we've won only 7 games all season is quite simply deluded.
Let 'em have their dreams Chris, it's not hurting anyone but them in the end. Down with a bump for some but everyone has a different aproach to it. Personally I haven't looked at the league table since before Christmas and have no intention of doing so until next season now.
The 'we've been down since Xmas' brigade have been miserable for a long time now.
And no doubt they'll get the satisfaction of telling everybody they were right all along.
Okay, nobody truly is under the illusion that we've any practical chance of staying up.
But meantime, we might as well have a more carnival atmosphere and a bit of fun
I can't quite believe that i am still looking at the league and in my mind running through "well if we win there and they get we can go" I said after Doncaster weare down but just cant seem to accept it!! Madness
"And my Dad and family friend Michael. So that only leaves 8,712 to find..."
8710 to find....me and my mate Paul were there. Not quite as good as Leeds at St Andrews but still one most dramatic games I've been to. Looking back, if we had lost against Bolton we may not have had a Charlton to suppport today. It took Bolton ages to get back even as far as the 2nd Division after losing that day.
PS: Pretty sure Ian Moores got the Bolton goal. Think he's brown bread now, poor sod.

What i'd like to know is how the hell do you guys remember all this stuff?!
I genuinely struggle to remember the score/scorers from the last few matches!
People's photographic footie memories never cease to amaze me.

Let's see whether the players choose to power the life support machine or just switch it off...
Simon Crosse (GLR/Radio 5) was there too.
Can still name the team off the top of his head.
Tired after playing with 10 men in a big derby, Carsley banned, away from home,
OK we'll still most likely lose but they will have more nerves than us and we are scoring goals.
Our defence still looks dodgy mind so another 3-2 game. Just not sure who to.
last game of last season beat cov, first game of this season beat swansea.
Shame about the 3 months in between ......
I dunno, that's quite a long time unbeaten!
I'm very glad I'm not going to be there....;-)
