[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]Err, yes... I know of one and I know one personally. I think it is the one I know personally that signed, but it might well be the one that you know.
OK if you say so. Care to explain why you signed it three times?
[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]Unbelievable, on what basis could the board possibly persist with this inept man as manager. 2 wins in 25, was able assistant to Pardew, where he presumably had a voice, was fired by Hull for a woeful record, only worsened by his antics at Charlton.
[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]They have the right to hide their names on the petition as annonymous, though as administrator of the petition, there are names on every single entry. I have checked every single name on there and there are two palace entries that are, indeed, 'giggles', the rest are not.
Granted, petitions are not much use if not signed, but that is a choice evry one is entitled to.
we've been through this before.
You yourself have signed it three times as Hans Erik Gooding, C4FCDenmark and C4fcDenmark1 so it is just a joke..
I've meant to have signed it as has Richard Murray and Simon Jordan. Did you take my name off or are you still counting it as one of the 73?
At best 40 of those signatures are real and 40 out of 15,000 ST holders?
[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]Sorry Ben, but you seem obsessed with this petition!
As mentioned previously, I haven't signed it three times. Feed your obsession and take another look...
LOL Obsessed! I'm not the one who keeps trying to flog his dead horse of a petition.
I haven't looked at it again and don't plan to but you had signed it three times.
Are you now denying that you did that? Strange as I saw it with my own eyes.
You may have gone back and deleted it since but that doesn't alter the fact that you signed it three times and that many of the names are jokes or or obviously Palace fans.
[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]Thats a relief. You are obviously not aware that people can enter whatever name they like, including Ben Hayes. There you go...
which rather destroys any remaining validity that your little petition may have had.
a) Confirm that Parkinson has been given a new 2 year deal the day after the Norwich game, so he knows that what he has got to work with and has time over pre season to do this, or..
b) Get rid of him as soon as relegation is confirmed, and confirm at the very latest the day after the Norwich game that the new manager is? , and he/she has the whole of the summer with something to work on.
The longer the board leave this, then it does the manager (whoever this is) no favours.
[cite]Posted By: shirty5[/cite]As far as i'm concerned, the board need to

If they're going to keep him (which as I said before I think they will), is there really a need to give him a new contract? He'll still have a year to prove himself, if not he'll be dropping down at least a division to get another job.
Under Pardew one of the things i saw Parkinson doing was warming up the back four before games, heading and kicking and stuff. To save us money sacking him could he 'assist' for a year by giving out kits, supervising running around at training, writing lists, collecting balls and so on. BUT No way no way no way on earth should Mr Philip Parkinson be allowed to continue as manager, as i said on the day his appointment was confirmed until the end of the season, he is a nincompoop, and I was roundly derided by many fans then. Strange though it may seem, I am judging him by the evidence in front of my eyes, by results, and by comparison with others. Cherie Lunghi would certainly do a much better job, I would, Julian Clarey would, my goldfish would, any reader here would, picking the team by ballot would be more successful. Giving the bloke a chance because he got Colchester promotion after three years in charge, and because he is 'nice', and because he has his feet under the table, and because he gets a wage, will end in disaster. I propose a system of 46 'lucky' vouchers randomly placed in season ticket books, the winners get to manage for a game each.....could it be worse? Could it? As for alternatives...they're out there, the bloke at Falkirk, Boothroyd, Robson, Ince, Erickson (!), others....give the job to Gritty and Peacock even, advertise and look at the response, but please not Parkinson...please
Shirty 5 is spot on. This board made there stance with Curbishley very clear, one year left on a contract was not enough and he either signed another one it or he had to go. Parkinson has one year left so they either need to tell us as fans before season tickets are bought he is our Manager and as a board they are backing him and if people don’t like it they can clear off, or we will get rid off him immediately and bring in someone else
My own take on this is that he has to go, but if the board stick with him I will still renew my season ticket as I support the club not the Manager, Board, Players or Division we are in.

Dear God ... compounding errors; not learning from history, repeating the same mistake ...
If the board can't see what is in front of their eyes, then Parky's record incharge -- the facts, in black and white -- is there to tell the tale of woe for even the most myopic.
It is a horrible record.
What has happened to this club is terrible. And to choose to continue down the same path to ruin is either moronic or masochistic. The board can not be that stupid.

Amen to that.
perhaps they are our away supporters.

But you still used it. Sad.
Your name is not on the petition, your email address was clearly not valid, I suspect, as is highly unflattering.
Anyway, I think we have said enough to eachother on this, your oppinion is clear and doesn't need labouring.

Cheeri Lungi is going to be the new manager?
Why not ;-)
She's an actress but apart from that can't see any good reason not to give her a go.
smith.. what a shite name. :-)
As it's Friday, 'Would Ya' .... ?
;o)
;o)
I would give her a go

Anyone for a new 'two-year plan'...?
BUT

Insanity.
