It's probably an indication that Parky's thrown the towel in ...... even if me and Kins know that we'll be staying up, thanks to Dicko scoring that last gasp winner in the last game of the season.
My thinking was that Doolally was being looked at as factor X to add ammunition to the fight to stay up.
If Parky now can't see us staying up, there's no point spending the money.
[cite]Posted By: Oggy Red[/cite]Perhaps Soares will be the next economy...?
I would think so. Have checked and his loan expires after the game on Saturday. Stoke can recall him before then, though we could extend it.
Surely time to send him back and give Sam a run in the team again. Would like to see Zheng on the left with Bailey in place of Spring in the middle, Dickson and Kandol up front.
[cite]Posted By: Can-addick[/cite]Sorry Oggy. Changed my mind. Can't even sign this guy (despite my not having a clue who he is!)? We're going down... ;-)
It looks like I forgot the smiley on my post, Can ...... but, in context, hopefully it still reads as tongue in cheek.
[cite]Posted By: Ledge[/cite]classic hysterics over a 2 bob player who is being hawked around england by a desperate agent.
you won't be laughing when, on the last day of the season, having won all our remaining eight games, we are relegated by a last minute winner for Plymouth by Douala.

Douala even sounds like a Plymouth player. It's going to happen isn't it.
Well the Douala winning goal, not us winning 8 games...
The truth is PP fancied this guy and it was only finances that stopped us doing something. Surely sending back loans that are not going to be with us next season like Butterfield and Soares and using the money to sign a player the coaching staff like who might be with us next season would make better use of the money we have.
i don't think having a player on a contract to the end of the season is much different from having another loan player. chances are we couldn't afford him next season and he may well get better offers anyway. stick with what we have.
i know what you mean, but i wouldn't want anyone else to come in unless they could be there next season. if we were playing for something i'd want tom soares and douala to sign till the end of the season but as it is i don't want either of them here!
plymouth can afford him must be a well run club down there
fine example to us , maybe we should go down there and have a look at how a football club should be run;-)
