As I pointed out elsewhere last night, none of that is about the players' skill levels. It's all about their mentaility and how up for it they were. And it's his job as manager to instil that, isn't it?
Absolutey, Nige. ....... it's the manager's job to gel the individual members of the team together, and a vital aspect of that is to get the mentality of the team right.
Despite what some may think, we've got some good players - but we don't have a good team.
So whatever good things Parkinsella are doing - bottom line, it ain't working.
Elliot----6 the goals wernt his fault and one great save in first half. Butterfield----4 looked like he had been dropped into a team where he didnt know who was who or where to play. Ward -----5 big gaps between him and Hudson Hudson--- 4 pushed off ball easily , kept geting out of position -- poor Crab Man ---5 passing all over show one goal saving challange in second half.
Spring ----- 3 f**king shit , should have gone off at half time racon ----- 8 MoM fr me good feet and can pass, gets involved all the time. Bailey ----6 why the f**k was he playing so far wide ? it was the reason that Watford took control of the midfield in the second half they over ran us. Sam---- 5 ok first half didnt show in 2nd
Kandol ---- 7 took his goals well and was ahandful most of game Burton ---- 5 closed down well in first half linked well with Kandol in first half didnt show in 2nd.
ZZ -----5 where was he playing when he came on did Parkinson tell him ? seemed to be at the back/middle and front. Did more in 20 mins than Spring in 70 although i think i did as well. Toddy ---4 didnt tuch the ball Sores --- 4 see above. Should have been on earlier.
Parkinson is shit thats SHIT ! all this hog wash about "we look better " " small improvements" double KAK !!!
my scapegoat is our fitness coaches. I have lost count of the number of games where we have physically fallen to pieces in the second half. regardless of tactical/technical issues with parkinson being out thought we have not been able to last 90 minutes all season. I would love to hear from out coaching team why they think that is, because regardless of our financial troubles at this level of professional sport there is simply no excuse for it.
[cite]Posted By: oohaahmortimer[/cite]elliot is such a nothing keeper , he'll never win us a game(you know what i mean) and is so ordinary it's unbelievable...
feet glued to his line when he should be on his toes clearing things up that break through
get weaver back
in fact too late leave elliot or randolph in they need to learn but we wont win promotion with elliot in goal FACT
Tongue in cheek I trust!
Elliot is probably the one positive this season other than Jonjo signing.
So, from reading this thread the blame for our defeat yesterday lays with Elliot, Butterball, Youga, Hudson, Ward, Spring, Sam, Bailey, Racon, Burton, Kandol, Todorov, Soares, Zhi, Parkinson, Kinsella, Pardew, Murray, Chappel, Dowie, Les Reed and my neighbours dog.
The only scapegoat for me yesterday was Parkinson. Would really love to see him succeed and have tried to back him since getting the job but yesterday was his worst. The examples I have for him yesterday were:-
Dropping Jonjo and Dickson from the 16. Although things did not come off for them Tuesday night, both should have been on the bench at least. Parkinson has no consistency with his team selection.
Spring totally infective on Tuesday night and the same again yesterday. What worries me about Parkinson it that the two permanent signings he has made Burton and Spring do not appear at best to be any better than what we have already. And that is being generous!
No starting place for ZZ. Would have been better him getting an hour then taking him off rather than using him late in the game.
Ambrose dropped from the 16. I am not a fan of his but had done enough at Swansea to be still in the 16. Again no consistency in his selection.
Toddy being on the bench. The bloke is clearly not fit (why did Pardew give him another deal?) and I am struggling to think of anything positive he has done this season.
Said after Tuesday that Spring was anonymous and a hopeless journeyman but he's a PArky signing so that's why he gets picked no matter how useless he is
Why he gets picked in the centre with Bailey out wide is beyond me

Sounds about fair to me.

Apparently the software couldn't cope with us scoring two and leading at the same time, and the whole thing crashed
I blame Breamteam and that sodding fish.
