Will probably only renew two of the three in our house and rotate weeks off for counselling. Leave a gap in the middle of course so we can nab it back when enthusiasm returns.
What else would I be doing? No matter how bad it gets, I would rather be at the Valley than anywhere else. So yes, I will be renewing. Had a season ticket for over 20 years now, and too stupid to contemplate a new hobby.
Those of you that can afford it, will be there and you know deep down that you will not be able to keep away.
I will certainly be renewing, although I am hoping the club produce some sort of special deal (like Bradford) where if x amount of people buy a season ticket then it only costs x. that would allow us to boast horrifically inflated home crowds next season when we have many season ticket holders, a large proportion of who arent actually turning up most weeks. additionally, i hope the club closed the upper west and upper north to try and make the ground feel less empty and produce a reasonable atmosphere.
I used to go to games and win, lose or draw come out havin been entertained or at feel that we at least had a go. Now i seem to come out angry and/or depressed that i have blatantly wasted my time and very hard earned money. I never ever thought i would feel like that but i really do.
Right now i Dont think i will renew (i said that to myself last season).
the overiding factors will be finace and almost more importantly who is in charge, If pardky is still here i think that will make up my mind not to renew.
Waiting the results of my 30 days redundancy notice before making a decision, can you still "Bunk in" at The Sam Bartram bogs via the laundry? as I might have to ;-)
I won't renew because I've never had a season ticket. However, next season I will get one. Although this season has been a real disappointment and I can't see us getting out of it, it hasn't put me off buying my first one. It might sound strange but as long as we can keep hold of the likes of Shelvey, Elliot, Racon, and Bailey and bring some of the youth players through, we will have a chance of going up. Mind you we all thought that last season. The prospect of going to new grounds, the players wearing a new red kit, and as long as we still have a club that plays at The Valley, I will be there.
I didn't renew last year. Been to about three quarters at home this year and (for the first time since I was old enough to buy my own ST) no away games. Its not just Charlton - I'm falling out of love with football in general. There's nothing I like about the game any more, I don't get the 'buzz' I used to from it and I find there are far more important things in my life to worry about. Yes I still get the arsehole when I have to work on a Saturday if we're at home, yes I still miss it when I'm not there... but nothing like as much as I used to. It has nothing to do with us being shite either - I remember the early eighties & early nineties when we were proper gash - and I loved every minute of it.
I never thought I'd say it, but I just don't know.
If we continue with the current management, probably not.
If the club turfs out dozens of employees as a result of it's poor governance, probably not.
I hold three at the moment and two are rarely used, there's a limit to the amount of charity I'm prepared to give to an organisation that appears to be unable to get any decisions close to the target.
IL just be trying to get to as many northern and midlands away as I can, and finding as many exuces as I can to visit my mum in Erith on match weekends. I know I strangely will be as excited to go to the likes of Scunthorpe or Walsall as I would Everton or Brum city.
Problem is if its easy to walk up and pay on the day and get your choice of seat, I can see a lot of people not renewing and picking and chosing their games. If we have a poor start next season whichever division its in, I can unfortunately see a dramatic slump in sales.
I know die hard fans that are starting not coming to certain games now, despite having season tickets.
There's going to be a lot of 'Unsures' a the moment, especially after the performance the other night, but come the Summer when there is a lack of football i'm sure people will come round.
Unsure at the moment. Finance are tight.
Getting relegated couldn't have come at a worse time.
So many people will be tightening their belts and 3rd division football won't be a high priority!
Ah crud, I no doubt will renew.
If I win the euro millions, I'll buy you all your season tickets!!
I may have already posted in here but I can't see it, but yes I will be renewing. Not renewing hasn't even crossed my mind tbh. No matter how bad things have got I still go. My enthusiasm for away days has fallen though
I will be, obviously there's not much to look forward to at the moment, but that'll change next season, by then we'll have a new squad and there's the hope that we'll be going for promotion, playing good football and that'll change everything.
I am 100% renewing. My only gripe this season is if I had not had a season ticket and gone to all home games I would possibly have paid less. Has anybody worked this out? I sit west lower.
I did also say on Tuesday night to my Dad, at least next season we can get better seats bed in and wait for the good times to come back. I think we will go down however we will come back a better club (maybe with new owners) and around the 2012 mark (Olympics) I can see investment and us getting back to what we where......a family club, with hard working loyal fans who love the club!
Get rid of the players that are not Charlton and get rid of the fans that are not true Charlton!
3 points tomorrow! Typical Charlton rollercoaster of a club!

I wonder if the Target brothers will?

So, short answer, 'no'.
If we continue with the current management, probably not.

Ah fk it, I probably will. I disgust myself.

You'll be buying the club!
yes...................sir...............reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Charlton til I die
xx
But will still end up at every home game I can get to - work allowing - which this year has been every home game
actually, i'd probably just give the club a £40 million injection!
It saddens me greatly that people stop renewing when the club is in the greatest need of their support.

Would not change it for the world!
