  • that was an incredible strike from racon superb skill I thought they had given offside for the pass back to youga before the cross.

anyways, shelvey was good last night, played some good passes and his touch was exemplary.
  • some of you should not bother writing such utter bollox.

[cite]Posted By: cafc4life[/cite]Thought he was effin terrible couldnt past to our men didnt make any tackles watched men go by him and slowly jogged back..i know hes only 17 but he was never the right man to play in a game of last nights importance..he needs to learn some basics before he can be involved in our 'big games' same with dickson..

this is the most stupid fuking post i have read in my life ever and that includes the whole reams and block bullshit i used to let wind me up

if you have fuk all of substance to say, say fuk all
  • its my opinion mate..hence the word 'thought'
  • Still at least we turned him into a charlton player.
The gravy train is at the station and he's just got on the front carriage (1st class) to sit back and relax.
  • can't believe i am reading this, he is 17 years old and if we had another 10 like him on the pitch we wouldn't be where we are now.

When did he sit back and relax ?

He maybe tried too hard, but needed someone to hold the ball up so he could run on to it. When he went into midfield he actually passed the ball something the midfield hadn't done for the previous 70 mins.

CAFC4LIFE you are a plum of the highest order.
  • what is really pissing me off in all this is the need for a scape goat

last night we was taught that the way to get through this division, is to play without fear, with passion and with skill last night Doncaster rovers played some of the best football i have seen in many a year at the Valley,

Yes we allowed them time and space as they allowed us on some occasions not many but some.

THEY had the bollox to try to pass their way out of trouble 1 or 2 touch we never, they scored 1 great finish but piss poor marking by us and we gave away a fuking ridiculous Pen after more shambolic defending.

If anyone was to blame it would be the fullbacks for both goals and Hudson for not organising the defence at a corner.

We as a unit did not turn up

not Jonjo Not Dicko not Youga not Butterscoth not Racon not soares etc etc etc

all of them last night we got beaten by a good outfit who play lovely football and had no fear.

the players have fear cos they are having a shit season and We will give em pelters and rightly so but to even consider playing our best technical player because he happens to be 17 is absolute shit.

He didnt get bullied of the ball he wasnt kicked to fuk out of a game it was the right game to play him but like others he didnt get anymore than a 6 out of 10 for me all night the same as every other charlton player last night.

You are all pissed off because last night all hope went out altogether.

Save your Pissed off comments for doing something about it when the fat lady sings or are we just going to go quietly after such a shit season
  • No-one's making jonjo a scapegoat, just talking about his performace. If you play a 17 year old kid who is billed as a superstar and is even linked with a 5million pound move to arsenal then he is going to be in the spotlight. I'm sure he can handle it.

For me, saying donny were just too good for us and we 'as a unit didn't turn up' doesn't cut it. If people want to discuss why we are where we are and why we didn't turn up then a charlton message board seems a good place for it. Personally, i've moved onto watford.

Usually i'd agree but considering Donny's recent form in the past 11/12 games I think it's a fair assumption.

Unfortunately, if we played Man U I think the team would get slated for not winning!
  • West Brom fans boo'ed their team off after losing 3 - 1 to...........Arsenal.

Come on you Baggies what did you actually expect to get out of that game?
  • I am shocked at whats been said on here. I honestly believe some of the people that post on hear have never seen a game of football and have never kicked a ball in their life. He was dropped after the Donny game because of the amount of mileage he had put in during that game FACT. So could hardly be hiding. He's corners were good and he is always looking for the chance to shoot and we all know if you dont shoot you dont score. He actually got man of the match which i find amazing for someone that played so shite. I'm effing amazed at your thoughts.

  • You start to get used to it being a Charlton fan.

    Interesting.

    So rested rather than scapegoated.

    I couldn't agree more.
  • Can they kick it?

Uncle believe this, there were fans shouting, moaning, call it what you like at Andy Hunt up in the Toon some years ago. He was playing up front on his own and he put a shift in. However people werent happy and demanded more.

A week later we were told he had chronic fatigue syndrome which ultimately ended his career.

There are people who watch an entirely different game to me et tu ...

to be fair they could hardly know he had chronic fatigue syndrome. they were judging him as a footballer not as a man who was suffering with such a bad illness.
  • uncle I'd love to know what jonjo has said regarding the penalty incident on saturday

it seems the only people in the world that saw it were us who were at the game
  • jonjo said "He raped me".

    Pards agreed
