Harry Forrester went on trial with Ajax his wiki said. Obviously, their academy knows a talent and they don't take many British players on trial. Haven't seen him play though.

Mambo could be a late developer. We made bad mistakes letting Michael Turner and Danny Shittu go before they matured.
We did? Remind me how many years it was before either of them actually played in the Premiership after leaving us.
Both only became Prem players (as also did Primus)BECAUSE we let them go early. If we had kept them longer and denied them the chance to go to Brentford and QPR respectively to play regularly they may not have developed in the way they did.
I'm pleased both have done well and in both cases we received fees for their services and had sell on clauses.
In the case of Yado if we have the resources I'd like to see us do what Spurs have done with Caulker who upgraded season long loans with Yeovil,Bristol City and Swansea before playing a role with them
He is getting better loans, last year Ebbsfleet this season half a season with AFC Wombles in L2 and then the second half with the Shrews in L1.
I'd like to see us keep him next year only if he can establish himself with a loan at least in L1,otherwise let him go and like Primus,Shittu and Turner good luck to him if he does play at a high level later in his career.
Why couldnt we have done the same thing as Spurs and carried on loaning out those players to gain the necessary experience. On one hand you say it was because we let them go that they developed and then you quote the case of Caulker who Spurs did not let go permanently.

That was my point and I tried to say in the last para that if Mambo does well enough at the Shrews to earn a L1 loan next year then he would be developing and worth keeping, all of Caulker's loans were improvements and if Yado continues to improve this would be my wish, but if he isn't at least up to that level then maybe we should let him move on.
I was trying to say is that even then he could still develop into a player who could perform at CCC/Prem level later in his career if lets say he moved to the Wombles permanently and became a regular.
Toronto FC are close to signing winger Hogan Ephraim on loan from QPR, while Tottenham's John Bostock and Cardiff's Rob Earnshaw are set for trials at the Major League Soccer club, according to club president and general manager Kevin Payne.
Ephraim has fallen out of favour at QPR in recent seasons, taking in loan spells at Leeds, Charlton and Bristol City. Payne hopes to complete a loan deal for the 24-year-old in the next 48 hours.
"We're in hopefully the final stages of signing him to a loan agreement with Queens Park Rangers," he was quoted as saying on the official MLS website.
"We hope that will be concluded in the next day or two."
Reports suggest attacking midfielder Bostock and striker Earnshaw will arrive at the Canadian club on Wednesday.
Earnshaw recently took in a loan spell at Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv and is out of contract at Cardiff in the summer.
Payne added: "[Earnshaw] arrives to take a look at us and for us to take a look at him to see if that's a fit that might work.
"It's a little too early to tell if that's going to happen."

MK Dons still interested in loan deal for #cafc winger Danny Green. But unlike Swindon, not prepared/able to pay full wages.
@RichCawleySLP #cafc striker Bradley Wright-Phillips has joined Brentford on loan until the end of the season. (Another Cawley exclusive)

CHARLTON are to sign Jonathan Obika until the end of the season.
It will be the Spurs striker’s ninth loan move in four years.
Obika, 21, has had four stints with Yeovil and spells at Millwall, Crystal Palace, Peterborough and Swindon.
