Got along to Greenwich Borough this afternoon, for the home Ryman South League game against Three Bridges. Borough are on a good run and sitting on top of the league. A 4-2 win today continues their good form and keeps them in the top spot.

Gary Alexander has a strong core of ex-league players, in Peter Sweeney, Bradley Pritchard & Charlie Macdonald, and has improved the squad since the start of the season, following last seasons promotion. There Is now a number of good young non league players in the team, giving a good mix of youth and energy, alongside experience. Pritchard was the best player on the pitch, with a typical performance of nice touches, good passing and a couple of shots on target.

After a dominant first half, Borough were 3-0 up at half-time. Three Bridges FC came back in the second half with two goals, before MacDonald scored a typical poachers goal to secure the three points.

At the risk of sounding like Ackworth has anyone seen Ricky Miller play for Dover and if so what do they think?
  • Highlights of the Three Bridges match @Tutt-Tutt talked about. Some entertainingly industrial language picked up by the mic.

    Beat me to it.
Hope it works out. It can't get any worse.
Away to Wealdstone this weekend, may be worth a punt.
They have got to be around 3/1.
Easy journey from North Greenwich (about 3/4 hour).

Dover 2up at half time and could be 4 or 5. Powerful and athletic all round the pitch. Bromley are being outclassed and if you didn't know look a bottom 3 side who were promoted last year. Charlton scout is sat behind me....
