[cite]Posted By: DA9[/cite]I understand the sentiment, and the frustration, but dont see how it would be advantageous to us.
If we had a board that didn't give a flying feck, and were obviously fleecing the club, then fine, all for it, but this board do care, they may have made mistakes, but they do care, and there is a very big difference.
Remember, most of the board came from the terraces, and they are hurting....the players however, I'm not so sure they give a feck either way, apart from maybe a couple.
I'm with DA9 on this, it's an impossible situation for the board. But some kind of action would at least show soe solidarity and depth of feeling amonget us regular fans. I like the halftime/75 mintute walkout idea, halftime would be excellent.
I agree with DA9's post....we don't really need to demonstrate...unless you as an individual feel it will at least make you feel a little better and in some way pro active...the board are all Addicks themselves and are fully aware of their mistakes and the clubs perilous position...no point in rubbing their noses in it as far as I'm concerned. It would just be like shooting your own....and for what purpose?
I won't be joining in.
I am certainly not against direct action but what would we be trying to achieve?
Parky out?
Board out?
New Board in?
Players out?
Players in?
One thing that direct action might achieve is to galvanise the fans and give us something to believe in and fight for as the players are certainly not playing their part there. Cheering for any cause must be better than booing a team with so little confidence.
Just had another thought on this. We're split on whether there's a point to direct action and what exactly we would be achieve. But we're definitely all up for showing the directors and, in particular, players &/management how we feel so what about leaving it til the last home game of the season and when the players do their inevitable lap we all just leave.

will they bother with a lap they would be mad to
They would be but I think the club would insist on it as it's what's always done
[cite]Posted By: McLovin[/cite]Direct action can be effective. Why look at the protest at the end of the Wycombe game where we demanded that the board got Pardew in. :-(
Well, at the end of the Palarse match who shall we demand the Board bring in .... ?
Comments

I think the board do care, but money and time have just run out.
