Or Sam in the hole, even? Like he did once home to Blackburn even.
D'you know, if Ambrose plays the 'Jonjo' role, we could do worse than to play Sam as lone striker.
Fast, tricky and elusive - just play the ball on the floor to him in the channels. He'd frighten the life out of defenders, as long as we didn't lump it up high.
Looks like we are down to the bare bones once the loans and injured players are stripped out the reckoning.
Agreed. Apart from Randolph in for Elliott, most of the rest are forced changes or sensible to rest the very young (Shelvey) and very old (sorry, Matty).
Would like to see Dickson on in 442 with Burton at some point.

Weaver is injured, I'm not sure about Gray, he has been injured but I thought was ok - he was on the bench vs Forest and after Burton's missed goals I'd have thought he'd have got the nod.

It's got a bit of a 2nd string feel to the team.
by the way this is his best and prefered postion and one that i think he could play.
now there will be nowt learnt from this one even if we win there is only 3 players who's confidence will be lifted from it

Wagstaff to be taken off for Todorov, Ambrose moved to the left, even if he plays well.
Holland to come on for Wright, even if he's playing well.
Would really like to see this team do well, with Ambrose in the hole, and Randolph, Wright, Wagstaff, Basey and Moutaouakil starting

But ours at least isn't a conventional 4-5-1, which normally converts to 4-3-3 when attacking. Curbs used to play it that way.
Parky invariably plays 4-4-1-1, which is more of a 4-4-2 but with the man in the hole given a free role/deep striker.
does this mean weaver and grey are on way out soon??
He occasionally plays them for the stiffs - weird. Surely he could do with a bit of competitive action but his legs must be too delicate now.
Think Weaver is anyone's to be honest.
