No not there. I think most of us agree that Hudson does at least commit himself and has been a much better performer than virtually every other player in the squad.
Having said that I'd be more than happy if we got money for him. Partly as I feel it's easier to replace a center half in a team compared to a goalscorer.
I don't believe champ teams need huge ammounts of transfer money thrown at them. However I do believe successful strikers in any division are very difficult to come by and thus are worth paying for or keeping if possible. As much as I don't like Andy Gray he scores. So I would setup the whole team to get balls on his bonce. That means Basey at left midfield and Sam at right midfield; I know he doesn't cross as much as he should but he can.
If we had a manager with a brain I'd keep Gray as there is still a chance we'd stay up. Gees if we had a manager with a brain he'd be forcing Sam to practice crossing hour after hour so instead of step overs he'd at least half the time cross. Gees if we had a manager with a brain he'd have used Mouta and Dicko in the run up to Xmas in order to gain a transfer value for them at the very least; it's not like their replacements were anywhere near better than poor with their return.
Still I digress any half formed intellectual approach to the use of your assets would be seen by 90% of English managers as an afront to their natural instincts.

He wasn't dominant enough in the air though, particularly in their box. I don't know if he's totally to blame for the goal though - anyone in the NL know if he got a shout from Murty or not, cos if he didn't Murty is at fault because he had that cross covered but Huds can't have known without a shout.
