But we've 19 games and 57 points to fight for. It's still very much in our own hands.

Still got 57 to target guys! ;o)
  • "It's still very much in our own hands."

That's what worries me... Be much more confident if it wasn't down to us and we could rely on other teams to gift-wrap us goals , like we do them!

[cite]Posted By: nigel w[/cite]Dave - would you care to rephrase the heading on this thread?

And you might want to use the edit facility to do something about this , too:

"starting from now - right now - is anyone else getting the buzz that the adventure of the next 20 League games could be absolutely blinding?''

So we've given up, have we?

Yesterday wasn't fun. How could it be? But I stand by the idea that we don't give this up without a struggle - and it's the fight, and the outcome that could be fun.

As for the thread being 'deluded' - when you support a football team, don't we all stand accused of being a bit deluded?

19 games - yesterday didn't help, but we're not dead yet.

Anyone remember St Andrews in 1987?
  • Yes, I do very well: in that team they fought and ran for each other, the great Lennie instilled a team spirit and a never say die attitude that saw us through some dark days against all the odds. I could go on but suffice to say that the present bunch of misfits and their manager aren't fit to lace the boots of the '87 team: there is no comparison!
