I'll be sorry to see him go. Do I rate him? Not really for all the investment in him of undoubtebly very big wages. Do I think we need him? Yes. Why I don't particular rate him is that for all his attributes he rarely crosses the ball into the danger area and mainly spoons a shot into row Z, and is often another invisible man.
We don't have pace in the team and anyone that can operate on the inside channel offering game breaking outside/inside runs is important. So again it leaves the midfield deep and no option to compress the space, leaving forwards isolated when any longish ball is needed. The loss of Bouazza immediately allows oppositon midfields/defences to compress us without much worry of being turned for space.
I totally agree about Mouta, not sure if he would be such an effective game breaker at winger but worth a try. At full back he is our only hope of compressing the space quickly between midfield and attack on the overlap; plus he seems to be more effective at assisting or being the crucial factor leading up to an assist than Bouazza.
if the parent club wants a player back for their season or because they can sell him at that time then fair enough, but to just loan him elsewhere seems a bit of a shit clause in a loan deal, but what can we do..a bit similar to what happened last season with danny mills.
on the other hand, if parky has got an opportunity to use the loan market to bring a number of players who are 'up for it', then we need to free up those loan places by geting rid of the ones who aint putting it in.

I agree and have said so elsewhere. He is technically sound, he gets up and down the pitch well, his main problem as far as I see it is he ain't a great defender. It seems to me he has all the attributes necessary to be a winger/wide midfielder.
I suspect though that Parky has him down in the "not up for the fight" category so I don't expect to see him anytime soon.
I'm disappointed he's gone. Infuriating - yes, lazy - maybe, shuns a tackle - yes. However, he can put a decent ball in, he can shoot, he does score goals. People moan about his misses but I'd rather a player like him who is prepared to shoot than others, and we have had plenty in the last couple of years, who would in the same position lay the ball off or hold it up so as they don't have to make a balls up and in fact do anything other than have a shot because they don't want to be the one everyone has a moan at. Fair play to Bouazza he missed one against Derby but was still prepared to try again. The goal he scored at Sheff Utd would only be scored by one other player in our squad (Jonjo) because the others wouldn't be able to either control it or actually get a shot on target. In this piss poor season we are having he has been one of the only bright spots and has scored five decent goals. We will miss him imo. Also, in his position, would you rather play for a team bottom of the league for a Club going backwards or for a Club heading for the PL. Tough decision eh.
I am in the state of mind that I don't want to follow a load of mercenaries I want to follow Charlton and our players not someone elses hand me downs I have had enough of that.
And I may be the only CAFC supporter who thinks it is sensible to treat Jonjo with caution until he is 17 from both sides, once he has signed professional forms he will be properly compensated if some idiot fu xxx his knee in a silly tackle.
Just another kick in the teeth that happens in football when you are down, we had a few when we were relegated last time remember, even the FA got in on the act with the frivolus appeal & all. Keep thinking things cannot get any worse week on week, then this week alone we have had the financial report, then this. I wonder when we will have the first official Charltonlife Suicide, it cannot be far away ?
[cite]Posted By: Screamer[/cite]Would be quality if he got injured for the rest of the season and didn't get to play any games for Birmingham. Now that would be funny.
Well I don't think it is right - I don't mind having 1/2 loanees who can take anything away from Heaney in our promotion year he was a professional but I can't remember any claub taking our current policy. It is poor.
Not sure I should be saying this or not but he wasn't the most popular of individuals...at least with some of the other players.Whether or not that was because of his attitude on the pitch or off it (or both even) I don't know.....may find out in due course.
As a player I quite liked him myself and I'm a bit sorry to see him go.
I am gutted about this, yes he sometimes looked disinterested but when he got the ball I expected something great to happen, none of our other players have that wow factor. He was quick skillfull and direct.
Yet I do not blame anyone for what has happened, we wanted the player and so accepted the terms offered us and he (and Foolham) have no reason to be loyal to us. Buzz wants to play everyweek and get a move, that is why he came to us, but we will never buy him and he probably is fed up with losing. Brum may buy him and he will get more satisfaction from games now, if he plays that is
[cite]Posted By: BDL[/cite]Sorry but Bouazza could be almost as frustrating to watch as Rommedahl.
Undoubtedly talented, in a squad that is challenging for promotion the type of player you want. However we're in a dogfight and we desperately need battlers who'll fight for every ball and Bouazza is not that type of player.
How many times have people said on this site they want a "Robinson" or "Brown". Well that looks very much what Parky wants too.
Good analogy BDL...but in truth 'nothing' could be more frustrating than watching Rommedahl!
Wonder where the flying Dane is nowadays?
a shame as he was a real threat and made and scored a few for us, if he was a bit more intelligent he could have been a top player and not on loan with us! However hes gone now and its time to move on. I guess it will be Basey or a refreshed and ready to fight (please god) darren ambrose in. I'd love to see ambrose come in and pull up some trees
Cant ship burton out as we have signed him. I think we will get two more on loan and maybe see ZZ leave this month.
At the end of the day it is what it is people! Lets just get on with it, I have already paid for my season ticket this season and have ten home matches left that I have paid for. I will go to everyone and cheer my team on, I would like to see our own players given a chance.
I have also paid for my ticket for Wednesday away and will be there yet again to cheer the lads on.
One gripe: Last saturday they had a fraction of the bars open in the west lower and it suddenly got mobbed, they run out of food and people were going mad cos they coudl not get served. Its all very well having lower crowds but they must of missed out on a few hundred quid last saturday from people not getting served.
The more i think about this, the more angry i become. Tomorrow is our biggest game of the season, lets not forget that, and whether you rate him or not, he was one of the first names on the teamsheet at the moment, and now he has just disappeared from it.
As others have said, if it was for a sale i could understand, but simply for another loan i find quite galling.
What i am NOT sad about is Bouazza reminds me of the typical journeyman footballer, who has no real care where he plays as long as long as he gets paid. He will not go that extra mile for anyone other than himself, and ultimately, is not the kind of player we need right now. Its the fact we don't have a ready made replacement that is the real issue.
I share your anger, AFKA. But as Fulham were still paying some of his wages (the accepted figure seems to be 50 per cent), they could write any get-out clause they liked into the so-called 'season-long' contract, couldn't they?
On any loan, the owning club still calls the shots to a degree. But when the owning club is also actually paying for him to play for the club that's borrowing him, then that other club has absolutely no authority in the matter whatsoever.
We accepted that when we took Bouazza and asked Fulham to carry on paying half his wages, so we haven't got any real right to feel aggrieved about it now - although I confess I am furious!
It's a mess and I kind of respect Parky for putting a spin on it and implying he wasn't too upset and having a little sideswipe about the bloke's commitment. But let's be honest, spin is all it was. He's been on the team sheet of every team Parky has ever picked since he took over, which is not true of any other loanee, and he was a certainty to start tomorrow. Fulham originally said he couldn't play in the cup game last week. We pleaded with them and persuaded them to change their minds. That's how important Parky regarded him to his plans, whatever he now says.
Birmingham have not behaved very well in this, but what goes around comes around, I am sure Charlton will remember this, hopefully we can dent their promotion hopes at the Valley later this season that's what'll hurt them the most.

.............or Bouazza and Sinclair will both score in a 2-1 Birmingham win.
[cite]Posted By: nigel w[/cite]Was it less than half, Henry? Which reinforces the point thay we can''t really complain.
Or more - in which case the anger AFKA expressess is more justified?
From what i heard a while ago Nigel, we were paying the full wages. Whether Brum are paying Fulham a loan fee or not, or have indicated they are likely to buy at the end of it, i don't know.
Good glad he’s gone, he had talent but only showed it every now and again when he wanted to. Having met him as well it was clearly evident that he was an arrogant man who thought the sun shined out of his ar*e.

With Craine and Primus and now Bouazza Gone --ship out Burton ( richard moved better ) and bring in the Kids.
Whats the Odds Shelvey goes ????? or already been promised.
We will beat Forest -
Recalled my arse more like im not looking bad with this lot get me a decent side
If its a season loan surely a recall is to help the club that he plays for not to just feck off again

FOr me that's almost the final nail in the coffin.
Those suggesting it's a good thing and looking forward to Basey playing left midfield tomorrow need to wake up and smell the coffee...

Stand up Ishmel Demontagnac!!
(Just kidding, I hope!)

When Fulham agreed to let him play v Norwich in the cup last weekend, I took that to mean that the Birmingham rumour had receded. Sadly not so...
