Mate there was no need to call him a wanker was there? what was the need we are all watching/listening etc to this shit season but some of us know we will "always follow the charlton *over land and sea*" no matter what league we are in!
  • Someone just texted TalkSport saying Sack Parkinson. Honestly now, how can that work?

You just have to laugh. Or you actually might end up crying. Hopefully this particular moron will not be at The Valley next season... the purge is on!

It was more than two errors, Burton was one-on-one with their keeper twice and blew both chances.

Burton is possibly the worst centre forward we have had at the club since Mike Small

come and have a sing song Chicago!
  • Surely give Dickson a run whats the worst he can do and thats not score like the other forwards

    Charlton 'til I die.....

Dunno what to say mate .......sounds like we've played a lot worse and won.

I've just scrolled through that commentary live text ....... and it appears Forest only created 3 chances in the whole match - but scored 2 smash & grab goals.

Rob Elliott never made a save in 95 mins.......just picked the ball out of the net twice in 3 mins. Compare that to the overworked Forest keeper, who made a string of brilliant saves.

Forest got the breaks today. We didn't.

Do we get any points for these facts?
  • Hi guys, just got home from the game after my 18th game without a win. Will stroll back to the Rose again in a sec if its open but needed to come to clear my head.

I could of scored at least one of Deon Burtons chances today. The bloke is not up to a Championship level. I would not want him to start next year in league one even.

One up front is asking for it, we were playing for a draw it seemed, good first 30 mins but we don't have the quality to finish chances. Jonjo is the only shining light of this season along with a possible Orient v Charlton FA cup round.

Im gutted. I can't see anyway back.

Il give my due to Parky. He sent the team out positive and we had a real go for a little bit but the same old story once we conceeded. We don't have the quality to compete in this league.
  • Ah but Parky singled out Burton as the way forward
  • [cite]Posted By: cafcinperth[/cite]Surely give Dickson a run whats the worst he can do and thats not score like the other forwards

Yep, we've tried everything else, why not Dickson and Gray?
  • He's a decent player at this level and will score a decent amount in League One as well he's just like everyone else at the moment. Rock bottom on confidence.
  • Yes but his rock bottom confidence comes about from his own poorness not from the overall crapness of the side, otherwise he would have scored more for Wednesday this season

because hes big, hes supposed to hold the ball up, bring other players into the game and flick balls on and perhaps score a goal here and there which he must do very well in training but hes ****ing sh*te when needed if im honest.

Dickson will be at Millwall ASAP, forget him. Gray I would not mind seeing again.

There is no positives. I hate everything. Im so angry im even contemplating not feeding my fish before I go back out so they can suffer like me. Why should I be the only one.
  • Just go and give Pat one mate... it'll all be alright on the night.
  • My wife smiled at me when I told her the score, now I am in trouble for losing it, surely I can claim provacation?

Not even Mike Reid: Uncensored could raise a smile on this face at the moment.

The rose better be open tonight. I would rather drink my own piss in the freezing streets than have to drink in pickwick again.

Couldn't see any way out of this before and I certainly can't now. We're not getting a lot (or any) breaks but in the end you make your own luck.

    Nineteen points... From twenty-seven games.

    How utterly depressing.
  • Just got back from the game: Sometimes one has to accept no matter what we try or what we do, we ain't going to succeed.
We outplayed Forest for 70 of the 80 minutes i watched. We had several chances, but failed to capitalise on them. They had two or perhaps three chances and scored twice.
Shelvey was superb (except some of his corners) I hope we can hold on to him.
We ain't got a striker worthy of the name.
    We are relegated!
  • [cite]Posted By: Daggs[/cite]Sometimes one has to accept no matter what we try or what we do, we ain't going to succeed.

    pretty much what i'm thinking
  • Daggs - I sadly have to agree with you. I really cannot see a way back. We lack too much in too many departments.

One shining light was Jonjo. I hope we can keep him until the end of the season.
  • Ambrose....was he actually playing. Would have been better with 10 men. Burton wasn't much better but at least he tries. Ambrose can F*CK right off as he clearly is not interested. Total bloody disgrace he was kept on for the full 90 mins IMO.

As for their keeper having to make some great stops. He stopped three shots all hit straight at him.

Shelvey is excellent and should have been playing more games for us already. More ability than the rest of them put together.
  • WHO ON EARTH KEEPS VOTING FOR US TO WIN - IT'S BEEN 19 GAMES GUYS!
