Game over!! I'm sorry but you can't win a match at home by playing one up front, and the striker being non-prolific. Poor decision by Parkinson. We should be playing two up front at home not hoping to sneak one.
I'm off to clean the oven. I'll be back when I've calmed down.

How can you say that ....... we've created 4 decent chances but good saves from the keeper.
Nothing to do with the formation.

Agreed but something to do with the fact that the guy we're playing up front has 1 from his last 26 games in open play.
Come on Charlton, one goal back and it all changes.
Any team in this division can be got at. Anyone. Nobody likes to be put under pressure. We have to believe. This is our season in just over 45 minutes. BELIEVE.

If you look for weaknesses you'll find them ....... but how about giving a bit of credit to the player for his reading of the game, movement and positional play that created the chances ?
I can't believe this listening to the game...all over Forest and next minute 2-0 down....this is absolutely disastrous. Mybe not his fault but we need a lucky manager....Parky is not lucky.......

Or doesn't that count?
we know these things don't matter to some Oggy, i'm with ya as always where's the need to be so negative!
[cite]Posted By: Dazzler21[/cite]but that stat is incorrect individual players have scored 6 in 157 as a team it's whatever in 26
The equivalent of 6 in approx 13 games. The comment regarding our centre forward stands and I will give him as much credit for his movement as you like but it is not movement that wins games - it's goals.
[cite]Posted By: Addick Addict[/cite]As pointed out at the outset that team has scored 6 goals in 157 games this season.
A damning statistic indeed.
We were still having chances up to h-t. The commentator on CAFC TV said we had 6 really good chances. Confidence must be horribly low in that dressing room.
Special ovation from Forest fans to Paul Smith, their keeper, for several brilliant saves.
"Forest winning 2-0 . Smith has been magnificent. It hardly tells the story, as Charlton have been the better side for long periods....", Forest commentary
We need characters who've all been captains like Holland, Murty, Spring picking our boys up... let's hope Hudson grows a backbone, Burton is an experienced campaigner as is Jon Fortune.
Parky needs to use these guys to be his coaches on the pitch.
Come on Charlton. It can be done. A goal in the opening 15 mins gives us 30 minutes where we could do anything. If we could sneak this back from where we are now, this is season changing potential. You just can't jack it in or we might as well not play the rest of our fixtures.

If they awarded points for spells of good performances during matches, we'd be in comfortable mid table safety by now
I will, of course, edit all my comments once we've won 3-2.

Sorry to be the jonah again Dazzler but that's two more than Ambrose has got in his last 30 games. Records are, of course, there to be broken!
