This quite clearly has to be Parky's last game.

If we are able to find a new boss who is experienced at this level, a motivator, imposes his character & beliefs on the squad & can bring in a coaching staff that can recognise our defensive frailties & organise them - well there is hope - twenty games is enough to turn it round.

We have a half decent squad - but they are demoralised, unorganised and in need of a leader on & off the pitch

Best post of the day mate, everything said and correctly so in 5 lines.
  • Thats the worst thing, I will blindly buy a season ticket regardless but holy shit this is shockingly awful.

I feel so so sorry for you troops who got out of bed and went today
  • If Parkinson has an ounce of self respect he will walk.
  • Lost for words....coming from me that's saying something!!
  • silly silly boy

because I've not given up, Steve? it doesn't look good but it's not over. and i do think we can beat forest!
  • Parkinson must go. As so many of us have said, he was part of the Pardew set up that has put us in this mess. The board MUST act NOW. Get rid of him and appoint someone so that they have time to assess the squad (which wouldn't take long because apart from some of the youth team players, they're all ****) and bring in some players in the transfer window. The board need to make funds available because if we don't spend now and go down, we'll be on an even tighter budget next season and will probably struggle to get out of league one which is very competetive. It'll be long ball tactics all next season as it's very difficult to play with the ball on the floor in that league.
  • I really think Parky has to go now but don't think it will be the answer. We seem to have the biggest collection ever of players who don't give a fuck about our club and too many of them see their futures elsewhere. I'm ashamed of our current crop of players and bar a few i couldn't give a monkeys if any of them leave in January.

Which ones in particular do you blame Mart?
  • What is the point in getting in a manager now?

You would have to be mad to want the job, the damage is done. Keep him until the summer and evaluate it then I am off to get drunk have a curry and beg the wife for sex.

  • CFGS - you have got to be kidding me?! You don't compound your original mistake by doing nothing!
  • I supported the boads decision on Parkinson, so I apologise to those on here who disagreed, Phil its time to go, Richard, its beyond time to act. Guys in the words of david Steele,"Go home and prepare for relegation"
  • My point is that he should not have got the job and then he should have gone after Coventry! The board (although I love RM for all he has done for us) has simply repeated his mistakes from two years a go.

Save the money as we are going to need it, all the glory fans will be long gone next year and our attendances will be done to PalARSE/NILwall levels

Bouazza, Gray, Sam & Crainie (what do they say about swallows and Summer), the failed loans of Primus and Gillespie, Youga, in particular but i don't think anyone is above criticism as you rise and fall as a team. Bouazza in particular i see as a poisonous player who we should dump asap as he's rapidly gaining Jerome Thomas status in my eyes and can only have a negative impact on any young players around him. We need players who are here for the duration and who see their future success tied to our future success and at the moment i don't think that's the case.
  • I do not get the Buzz criticisms, he may be lazy but he has scored more than most this season. He is enigmatic end of, if we were winning he would be lauded so is it his fault we are shit?
  • Bouazza a poisonous player...where's that come from?
He'd have been a hero today IF we had have kept a clean sheet....why are you 'particularly' picking on him...strange if you ask me...he's no better or worse than many of them.
  • The reason so many people seem to hate bouazza is the fact he is a loan player. thats it. which is pathetic because weve got 5 others that dont get the negative comments that are aimed at bouazza

All about opinions but he's the laziest player i've ever seen and all the more frustrating as he has got talent. I'm not 'picking' on him because of today rather the rest of the season bar the Reading game. Never ever seen him give 100% and although i can think of others who also deserve a good slating nobody else is quite as bad imo.
  • Actually, I think the main reason Bouazza gets so much stick is that people can see that he has talent, but for whatever reason we only ever see it in 5 second flashes followed by 30 minutes of poor play and an apparent lack of interest.

Then there's the fact that he's on loan, but I don't think that's the main reason.

To be fair to him he's no different to just about any other winger - frustratingly inconsistant - but I still reckon we should get rid.
  • Never ever thought of him as lazy....where on earth do you get that from???

Not at all i think Waghorn has given his all in trying circumstances and McEveley has looked decent too. To me players like Waggy and Jay Mc are always going to be hungrier than the likes of Bouazza, Primus and Gillespie.

Lamentably yes, many times, which was why i said Bouazza was gaining Jerome Thomas status in my eyes, in a previous post.
