  • pat yourself on the back you are supporting the worst charlton team in history.
  • This quite clearly has to be Parky's last game.

If we are able to find a new boss who is experienced at this level, a motivator, imposes his character & beliefs on the squad & can bring in a coaching staff that can recognise our defensive frailties & organise them - well there is hope - twenty games is enough to turn it round.

We have a half decent squad - but they are demoralised, unorganised and in need of a leader on & off the pitch.
  • This was always going to be a really tough game.

weirdly, I think we'd have felt more positive if we'd just lost 3-0. The false hope of leading in a game makes it seem so much worse. a win against forest and it will seem different...

    the season's not over yet.
  • 4 1/2 mins to go
  • Reading equaliser v Soton. But it hardly matters, does it?

What a mess. Now let's take a couple of more weeks to have a strategic review, eh?

Agree with all of that. Just wish it was that easy.
  • They should have learned there leason two years ago when they got rid of Dowie replaced him with a caretaker manager and when Pardew came in we were stuffed, clueless..........sort it out, u are destroying our club

It's up to the board - I am sure there are candidates out there - Ince, Davies etc etc.
  • Yellow for Cranie
  • Forest seal the game 3-1.

Outing your entire management team doesn't work does it.........
  • forest 3 1 up
  • forest will appoint davies
  • [quote][cite]Posted By: ct_addick[/cite]I agree with the earlier comment....the board's inaction have doomed us.....should have got rid off Parky when Pards went...I know we don't have money but even Kinsella and Gritt would have been better...[/quote]

Atlast some are seeing the light! Had my head bit off when I said that weeks ago. Parky is a disgrace, f'king disgrace.
  • 3 mins stoppage time
  • This really is a pathetic run we are on. How did it come to this? These players are totally f**ing spineless. Sure football is a confidence game but I turn up to work everyday knowing it could be my last given the current economic situation and have to put my head down and work my bollox off hoping it won't be me out the door, these twats just ain't interested, even at this level most earn so much money it really will not affect them either way.

  • These are very painful and depressing times being a Charlton supporter.

However, as long as the club are still here next season then I'll still be supporting them ever more.
  • Forest will pull well clear because of positive action by their board!
  • [cite]Posted By: otherwarwickaddick[/cite]3 mins stoppage time

Oh good - plenty of time for three quick goals then.

    Give it up mate.
  • yep so will i but i want answers
  • football is a confidence game, but then forest lost 4-2 two days ago and theyve won 3-1 today. they must have felt low but they are clearly up for a fight.

Not me mate I have said all along he was part of the problem.......
  • full time!!!
  • Make no bones about it Sheffield United are a good side - all the more reason that if you do manage to get your nose in front you defend that lead for all it's worth. We seem physically incapable of coping with any degree sustained pressure at the mo' and teams know that they are NEVER out of it against us hence THEY keep plugging away for the full 90 whereas we contuinually roll over after their first goal. Was time for a wholesale change of apporach when before Pardew went, never mind now BUT I'm still clinging on to the fact that there are plenty of points left PLUS I'll be back in the UK as of next week after 18 months away which has coincided with probably the worst set of results during my time supporting us. Things have got to change eh?
