  • Nice try Phil but it's time for new pastures.........
  • Coming from you, Pilchard, shouldn't that be fresh oceans rather new pastures?
  • Nice one Mr W! ;o)
  • [cite]Posted By: Southendaddick[/cite]Semedo MOM, serious.

    Jesus Christ.

The Italian fella made a ridiculous meal of Semedo's trip but that is Semedo all over. He could have walked for that and you know if there is going to be a moment of madness, a silly foul, unnecessary handball it will be from Semedo.

Shelvey does his job a lot better in my opinion.

Completely different players. Shelvey gets forward and creates things, scores goals, takes the ball forward, takes set pieces etc. More likely they could play together rather than Shelvey takes Semedo's place.

Wright is much more of a defensive midfielder than Shelvey, happy to sit back and spray passes around.
  • Semedo was my MOM, followed by Bailey....

PS.....what was all the hat flinging by Elliott, surely the need to see is greater when your goal is being attacked and not when the ball is in open play, very strange.
  • Parky has to go, nothing has changed, performances havn't really improved as were at least as good, if not better, at Plymouth and Birmingham. He has been allowed to make three loan signings and two of them, Gillespie and Burton, have been a disaster. Why entrust him with more money to spend ? We have wasted eight games. A new man in at least four games ago to assess the squad and then dabble in the window. In the meantime he may have pulled a couple of wins from the bag. For Parky to achieve just three points against the opposition he has had to face is appalling. And I really feel the opposition has to be taken into account. We have played teams mostly in the lower half of the table, only QPR bucking the trend and they were no better than useless. If we had played Brum, Wolves, Burnley etc then maybe we could be more positive but if we had played those we would have suffered some serious tonkings. Parky must go, he isn't the answer.
  • Expect a similar statment that came for Roker Park very soon.
  • Surely Roker Park is a Housing Estate by now? Should we listen out for news of revised rubbish collections?

    ;-)

I refuse to use the name the fans voted for their new gound. Found it all so embarassing.

I used to do the hat flinging thing too - the hat affects my judgement so i'd wear it until the attack hit close to goal then lob it away when I needed to judge distances and flight of the ball.

Even now I hate wearing a cap to drive or play golf

Cant wear sun glasses when driving, find them distracting
  • [cite]Posted By: Essex_Al[/cite]To have any chance of staying up, we must change the management team now. Parkinson has had his chance (8 games too many in my opinion) and must go now. If we genuinely haven't got any money, give Kinsella the chance (at least we know he would be passionate about our club) and perhaps bring Brown back in a coaching role. Whatever they decide to do DO IT NOW!

I for one do not want to see my team go down again. Proper fans, proper stadiums in Div. 1 my arse! Crap grounds and pathetic crowds. I do not want to go to The Valley and watch my team playing to an audience of 5,000 - 10,000 with rows and rows of empty seats, which is what will happen. It has taken years to build this club back up from the ashes and only two years to become an impending disaster.

I have been behind the board all the way and never critised them before, they have been fantastic for this club. BUT they must not let this continue anymore - DO SOMETHING BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!!!
