[cite]Posted By: Chirpy Red[/cite]Face it THE Stewards (not OUR stewards) who work at The Valley are complete ***ts as a whole and are not happy unless they have ejected at least one victim per game.
Right, they were told off and told to behave by the stewards after there were a number of complaints about their language and behaviour towards other supporters. After the match, the same group headed round to the players entrance and started abusing anyone who went past them there. They were then encouraged to leave the stadium area.

So that's why the lads were being moved.
Unless they had done that elsewhere in the first half, they certainly didn't do that in the place where they taken out from. They were 3 rows in front of me and had not said boo to a goose !

That's because they thought they better behave with a pwoper noughty geezer sitting three rows behind them.
I brought up the subject with Steve Waggot (after DC left last night at Bromley), re the general 'attitude' of the stewards recently...I had to admit that I personally have had no problems with them but that there was (in certain parts of the ground), increasing tension between the stewards and fans...he said he was aware that there are some grounds for concern re some of their petiness over certain specific incidents already brought to his notice and would take note of any further complaints.......exactly what that meant though re solving the problem I couldn't say.
