[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]what a stupid thread. Any true supporter wouldn't have to think twice about not going. I'm getting peed off with negative threads like this. Support your team and moan about it afterwards but at least support them first.
any true supporter just wants to watch their team.If they have a season ticket, they have already contributed,so if it's on tv why do they have to attend ?
there was a slight touch of sarcasm in my post, obviously undetectable !!
Wouldn't even cross my mind to not go. Not a Sky subscriber and I love my club and I hate not being able to go.
I missed Tuesday, not out of choice and for reasons I've not worked out yet I felt more cheesed off just seeing the result on the Beeb than when if I'd been there to watch. Even more bizarrely a bad result makes me want to go to the next game more and get behind the club.

I'll be watching from the warmth and comfort of my front room.
This close to christmas it makes no sense for me to pay to watch something that I can watch at home for free.
If that means I'm not a "true supporter" so be it.
Im afraid to say I probably wont. Ive got client meals / piss ups on both Tue and Wed and out with mates for a "quiet" curry on the Thursday.
So do I want to really piss my Mrs off just before Xmas by being out for 4 nights on the trot, or stand in the cold watching players who appear not to give a flying f**k? Hmmmmmmmm
I thought that perhaps Parky might not be going to the game on Monday. But unless there's movement on the appointment of a manager today (which seems unlikely), it's looking like he will be there and the managerless drift will continue for at least another match ...

unfortunately I too think he'll still be in charge on Monday whilst the powers that be continue to dither but I'd be amazed if he's still there by the Norwich game.

Funnily enough I'm like that - I don't go very often but when we are doing badly I want to go more - something about showing support for the club (if not necessarily the players).
I can understand people not going for family, work reasons etc but not going because we are pants is ridiculous - we might as well shut the club up and go and start supporting Chelsea. People have worked too bloody hard to get this club to the level it is and we should be even more fervent in our support at a time when the club needs it most.
I'm deffo going plus I want to see how the players perform when they're on telly. I'll still be singing my heart out, cos I believe that's what I should be doing. Something to do with pride and tradition I guess.
you may well sing but you will still be drowned out by the booer's and the beraters... oh we are going to be a laughing stock on tuesday after our rubbish support gets aired to the sky sports viewers.
Hopefully as its christmas time a fair few will be out on the lash anyway at parties.

will other fans actually tune in to watch a game between the bottom of the table team and a team who themselves are hardly pulling up trees at the moment and have lost their last three ?
I'll be there wrapped up like an onion with as many layers on as possible. Although will be partaking of a few more beers than usual to fight off the effects of the cold with my lil bubble of alcohol.
Nope.........i got my wish of "the Championship must be more interesting than this boring Premiership stuff we play....." So i don't wanna be seen as a hypocrite.
Might pick up my Norwich ticket before the game aswell.
gutted i can't go got a knee operation on monday(trying to prolong my footballing career) so i wouldn't want to damage my new knee celebrating our goals ;-)
there's not even a premiership fixture on the box that night to watch, so i suppose i'll have to watch us
