[cite]Posted By: adamtheaddick[/cite]we have had comps for Sheff Weds, Bristol City, Burnley, Barnsley and Coventry. Paid in full for Swansea and Wolves. more than happy to whisper any details over to you airman if you think somthing is wrong.. Having worked for greenwich council and most of my family working one way or another for them too there always seems to be tickets knocking around... Christ feel like im on trial here!!!!
Thanks, Adam. No criticism of you - we just have to look at our systems to ensure we are being fair to everyone. We've had 11 home games, so five is more than we would like but it's not nearly every home game, which is where we started from.
We more or less put a stop to comps as tasters in the PL because we were able to sell the seats to junior groups, but we weren't reaching enough people in the local area. In recent months we've been able to work with primary schools from Greenwich, Bexley, Bromley, Lewisham, Dartford, Gravesham and Sevenoaks. I do think we should give a special priority to the schools around The Valley, but in the end we offer these tickets to encourage people to pay in future and that depends on freebies having a scarcity value (and the football encouraging them to come back).
Cheers Airman. for the record your honour once the mrs has had our baby and he is old enough we will be getting 3 seasons tickets a year so i hope this makes up for the odd comp on a frezing night watching some of the worst footie i have seen in 20 years!! Up the addicks!!
The attendance was 13,000. To quote that 20,000 tickets had been given out says that 7,000 with tickets could not be bothered to show up, Sums ups what a mess we are in at present.

(Well, we will do when we're any good.)
