    They were clueless
  • Was he that good then?
  • He was poor, but no worse than anyone else, and not as bad as Buckers was saying IMO
  • According to sky, he won the pen that (briefly) got us back into the game.
  • The whole team was poor not just Mcleod,no fight,no passion,no pride.

What has Dickson got to do to be given a decent chance to show what he's capable of?

I am astounded to even think that McLeod could bang in goals in any division and feel like questioning whether the franchise actually sent us the right player and yes he wasn't really any worse than anyone else but time and again when given a start he's shown he's not up to it so why play him?

if I was Dickson I'd be handing a transfer request in first thing tomorrow morning
  • There is no way that the clown was worse than Semedo,Bailey,Buzz,Cranie,Hudson,Weaver
you can not blame him for tonights result if you are going to be critical atleast ve fair and share the blame around
  • I've come to accept that Dickson's face simply doesn't fit under the Pardew and Parky regime.
  • He wasn't good, but it was his pace that won us the penalty.
  • Buckshee he doesnt need to hand one in

He has been offered a chance to stay with us but he has also been offered the cahnce to go to leeds and is currently weighing up his options

  • It was poor all round. Blaming it on a striker who's only service was hopeful (should that be hopeless) balls over the top is ridiculous. He reached one and won a penalty.
  • the way we hooofed the ball all night was disgusting long ball no idea football is not the way to solve this problem

Difficult that one - stay at a club that's on a downward spiral where you're NEVER going to get a start with or go to one that is potentially on the up and where you might actually play.
  • if I was him I'd be straight up the M1

disgrace if we let him go withoutgiving him a proper run , I'd like to think whoever the new manager is that they'd give him a chance
  • right thickos , where was it that I blamed the defeat on him then?

just pointing out that he was , is and always will be crap so why was he playing in the first place?

    jesus christ
  • There's a million points after tonight but I'm going make two before I go bananas.

McLeod just hasn't the ability for this level and is possibly the most talentless forward we have had since Mike Small. I sat in the East Stand tonight and watched quite a lot of him and he hasn't the brains to play wide right.

AND If Parkinson wants to sign Deon Burton full time I'm never going back again and for that fact alone he's not the manager for us imho. I haven't been for a while and I genuinely feel sorry for the proper hardcore of you who have suffered that load of old toss since August.

The hardcore deserve better, but the people leaving from 75 mins onwards I can't work out at all. I just don't think they understand football.
  • the way it should have read mate was

    Semedo,Bailey,Buzz,Cranie,Hudson,Weaver,Burton,Mcleod,Holland,Fortune,Gillespie

    I am speechless
  • I couldn't see us scoring an equaliser if we'd played all week but I still stayed until seconds before the end but after rushing my arse off to finish work early enough to get to the match tonight I'm starting to question whether I will do the same on monday with the game on TV
  • Deon Burton is the worst striker that i can ever remember, i thought that about him before he joined us and tonight just emphasised it. Mcleod is not far behind and only narrowly beats him because he has some pace. However the way he throws himself on the floor every time he gets the ball trying to win penalties and free kicks makes me sick, it is not Charlton. Todorov has more ability then the entire team put together and should play so much more than he does. He may be slow but the link up play is 1000times better with him on the pitch.

    I reckon between 13-14k
  • 26k by OS standards lol what shite those stats are!
  • speaks volumes that mate doesnt it
  • I thought Burton was our best player before he went off-held the ball up really well and rarely gave the ball away. Funny how people see games differently.

Todorov's fine as a sub when the game opens up because he can find more space, deffo not a starter imho.
  • to bbe fair os says we are in 2003 and playing leeds!
  • what valleyman said... the clown is a clown and he isn't good enough and nor is deon what a joke team we are
  • Ther are a lot of players (probably half a dozen) after tonight who shouldn't be starters but will be.

    Was that the 6-1 defeat?

Better performance than tonight at least.

We got a lot of rubbish in this team at this level, but wasn't McLeod and Burton pretty lethal in league one?
