  • [quote][cite]Posted By: Robbo on the wing[/cite]I just find it hard to accept that we are so bad as to be botom of the table. At the start of the season we beat Reading with a side that refused to give in. We then played a Wolves side and lost late in the game (still a good effort). More recently gone to Birmingham and was a little unfortunate to loose.
    Self confidence. Plain and simple.

I wonder if there is something more than confidence - a post when Pardew left suggested a rift in the dressing room between senior pros and youngsters. Something like that can stop individuals playing for each other or passing to someone you have a problem with. Add to the mix a handful of loanees getting a game in front of contracted players and it's a recipe for disaster. Vital that we get an early lead.
  • I've made a decision to stay away from football related threads, more fun to talk about music, films, ropey tv presenters

Maybe i'm being naive but i believe thats all we need tonight. Rather than being a goal down at home after 10 minutes, where the boo boys give up, forget the remainding 80 minutes and start to boo individual players.

Early lead would - i hope - even make the boo boys sing up and try and give some encouragement to all players, whether they be ours or current loanees.
  • what about ur mate OBarmy ? geting hammered on the US jokey -- talk shows and the poor sod aint even got in the door !
  • I'd rather take a late lead than an early one !!
  • beggars can't be choosers at the moment.
