pop, pop, pop...

Do you know what that sound is? It's the sound of peoples arseholes going all over this board.

Nobody on here is happy about the way things are going at the moment, but ffs can we please stop all of the whining and bleating, grow some bollox and face it like proper football fans rather than a bunch of spoilt kids who have been told they can't stay up to watch the X Factor.

I'm not digging anyone here in particular as I know we're all on the same side and all want the same thing, but this is all getting a bit silly now.

  • trouble is mate with the performances one after another it's difficult to do anything else.
  • Hang in there Steve old son. You don't strike me as a fella who scares too easilly.

However, when you see me running for the fire escape then that's definitely the time to abandon ship!
  • I'm keeping out of all that tripe mate, going over the same ground it appears.

Asda have got a blinding deal on for beers, I think everyone should divert their attention their rather than here and drown their collective sorrows. That will do as much good as bleating on here
  • i'll be come rain or shine had feckin aresenal fans giving it "don't worry you can't get much lower" today, there is only so many times i can ask them if they were born just round the corner from highbury and why dont they support their local team. The Millwall fans are starting to get lippy as well.

Shameful contribution to the nation's binge drinking problem by ASDA IMHO

PS do they have offers on Bishops FInger and where's the nearest ASDA to BR1?
  • You know when things are bad when Henry turns to the Bishops finger...

    LOL
  • Have I missed a load of stuff whilst in Germany?
  • [cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]Have I missed a load of stuff whilst in Germany?

    Not really.

The season is over and we are in League one. Official.

We had a really unfunny wind up from someone who may have been South London La la or some Spanner but who cares. The Admin boys banned him totally unfairly.

Otherwise not much different from any week when we lose.

    How was Colonge?
  • Really, we're down, no one emailed me to let me know!

Cologne was lovely, Christmas markets are a wonderful tradition, as are the Bartwurst and punch. Would highly recommend a trip over there in December

Sorry, thought the news would have been on German TV by now.

Did Brussells and their Xmas market year before last. Excellent and the grand place looks fantastic.

I like the sound of that Bartwurst. Is that the Simpson boy in a sausage? ;¬)

  • Steve, you really should turn your computer off now and then and have a life, instead of having the constant lip on when posting on here.

The collective IQ of this board is going down daily. Grow up bloke.
  • That's unfair, he might be a miserable sod Steve but he's proper.

Don't worry Cart's, the rose tinted brigade don't bother me.
  • the truth hurts and unfortunately the pessimists/realists have called it bang on in recent times but they were so wrong during the glory years under curbs when the rose tinted knew we were brilliant
  • I believe Parky will be at the helm for the rest of this season, financial situation dictates it.

I believe we will improve enough to at least stay in the division, and with some wheeling & dealing in January and getting rid of the loanees, we will have a better, hungrier squad, but only just enough to regroup properly in the summer, and hopefully some outside investment.

Perspective is needed, there are far worse situations we have been in, and worse things going on in the world, nobodys died, and it is, after all, just a bloody game.

  • I'm erring to the side of Steve now - i think i've changed - so annoyed at the moment with our situation.

At least in the early 90's when we were rubbish I was too young to realise/care.

exactly but in the early 90's we were/had been homeless previously , in the 70's and early eighties when we were chuff we were a very small club and hadn't tasted top flight footy but to be where we are now after the recent relative success really really hurts , we never had a decent ground and decent numbers watching us(at home;-0) like we have now... it is so painful now
  • I was there in the 70's,60's and a bit before,in those days even though we often lost at least the players tried and seemed to have pride in wearing a Charlton shirt, that wasn't there at Blackpool.

However in the 1st half at Blackpool both sides were poor but once Blackpool scored so they improved. We aren't that bad we just need to get a win, it could 1-0 with the BALL ouncing in off Fortune's backside - it will bring back confidence to the players and the management, just a bit of luck that's all we need, but that luck will be improved if the fans get behind the team.

    So....COME ON CHARLTON
  • I don't care if he's 'proper' or not. Taking the piss is uncalled for. Just because me and off it share the same viewpoint on a number of things doesn't give nss the right to dig at me for no reason at all - especially when I've never said a word either to or about him.

This board's turning into a complete ****ing joke lately - believe it or not, there are some people who aren't ready to slit their poxy wrists now that we're shit again (like we have been for at least 25 of the 30 years I've been a supporter). There are more important things in life than football.
  • it wasn't you i woz referring to.who's slitting their wrists?

True, gave it a wide birth over the weekend, about as enjoyable as a misearable episode of Eastenders.
  • maybe if you read my posts more often you would know if i woz referring you

Well if you wait until we win it may be a long time ;-)
  • Steve, doesn't matter who you were referring to, quit the sniping.

All, Its natural we're all not going to get along dandy and share the same views, particularly with the team performing so bad over the last few seasons. But lets try and be a bit adult about it, eh ?

    Pretty please ?? :-)
  • I don't have a view, I just feel gutted and can't shake it off.
